We highly reward intensity. * Join a rare environment — you will work with ambitious high-speed, high-ownership people. * Fully present — we’re 5 days a week in the office to build the energising momentum we need. FOUNDER'S ASSOCIATE Salary Range: €60K – €80K • Offers Equity • Offers Bonus We’re looking for a Founder's Associate who will act as a versatile "Swiss Army knife" for Almedia's leadership, tackling high-impact challenges across every function of the business. WHAT YOU'LL DO 🎯 * Drive Strategic Growth Initiatives: Spearhead high-priority projects across product, marketing, and finance to directly contribute to Almedia's key expansion objectives. * Execute Problem Solving & Building: Dive into complex business problems, conduct rapid data analysis, and build implemented solutions in close collaboration with the CEO and Founders. * Optimize Operational Excellence: Identify internal inefficiencies and lead the implementation of new tools and workflows to enhance company-wide productivity and scalability. * Coordinate Cross-Functional Sprints: Act as a central catalyst between technical and business teams to ensure seamless execution and total alignment on critical company milestones. * Generate Market Insights: Perform rigorous competitive analysis and financial modeling to evaluate new ventures and provide data-driven support for strategic decision-making. WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT 🌟 * Own Everything: You treat the company as your own, taking extreme pride and responsibility for every outcome and ensuring no detail is overlooked in high-priority missions. * Raise the Bar: Your unquenchable curiosity drives you to constantly ask "why" and seek a deep understanding of business mechanics to elevate Almedia's standards. * Move Fast: You are a strategic doer who thrives in fast-paced, innovative settings, iterating quickly to turn unforeseen challenges into growth opportunities. We believe in fostering talent, evaluating all skill levels during the hiring process, and providing a clear path for growth. Almedia is an equal opportunity employer. The way companies innovate is broken. The systems built to create and protect ideas can’t keep up with the pace of change. Today, 90% of S&P 500 company value is intangible (e.g., IP) — yet R&D and IP teams spend half their time buried in manual work, sifting through patents and paperwork instead of pushing the frontier forward. The tools of creating and protecting are stuck in the past. We’re here to fix that. Ankar is building the AI Platform for the Trillion Dollar Innovation Economy — a suite of tools that helps inventors explore, create, and protect ideas. We’re removing the friction from the invention process, starting with IP protection and expanding toward creation and exploration. We’re already seeing this vision come to life: * We’ve raised >$24M to date from Tier-1 VCs like Atomico, Index Ventures, Norrsken, Daphni, and angels like the Founder of Hugging Face, CEO from Datadog, and Leaders from DeepMind and OpenAI. * We’re already working with the world’s most innovative companies including Fortune 500 company L’Oréal and global law firm Fenwick * Expanding our world-class team with alumni from Palantir, Amazon, and BCG to tackle the $1T+ innovation market. We’re just getting started. Ankar is looking for a highly organised, execution-focused Founder's Associate to work across growth, marketing, hiring, and operations. You will act as a force multiplier across some of the highest-leverage areas of the business as we scale. This is a true generalist role for someone who is hands-on, pragmatic, and energised by variety. You will help remove bottlenecks, build repeatable processes, and drive forward core business priorities across Hiring and Growth/Marketing. What you’ll be doing: * You’ll work closely with the team to support Ankar’s next stage of scale. The role will span multiple workstreams, sitting between Growth & Marketing, Hiring, and Operations. You’ll be expected to bring structure, momentum, and extremely high standards of follow-through. Your responsibilities will include: * Hiring: build a hiring machine that attracts the best people with a drive for the mission * Supporting hiring across the business, including screening calls and candidate coordination * Helping source strong talent through employer brand and related events * Growth & Marketing: make Ankar a respected and desirable brand * Supporting growth and GTM initiatives across sales and marketing * Helping plan, prepare for, and execute events, conferences, and external-facing company moments * Supporting inbound lead generation and improving the systems around it * Managing and supporting company LinkedIn content and distribution * Working closely with our Founding Growth team on priority commercial initiatives * Operations: ensure we operate in a world-class way * Automating manual operational workflows and improving internal systems * Building and redesigning operations processes so they are repeatable, scalable, and resilient * Providing finance, execution, and general operational support where needed What we are looking for * A highly organised, systematic operator with exceptional execution discipline * A true generalist who can move quickly across different workstreams throughout the year * Strong attention to detail and the ability to create order from ambiguity * Someone who can act as a force multiplier across high-pain-point areas of the business * Excellent communication skills and comfort working closely with founders and senior leaders * Strong judgement, high agency, and the ability to operate without needing heavy direction Ideally, you would also have: * Experience in an early-stage or high-growth company, either as an early hire, founder, or operator * Experience building or significantly improving an operations function from scratch * Some exposure to hiring, recruiting, or talent operations * A strong understanding of GTM as an end-to-end function across sales and marketing * Experience supporting events, conferences, employer brand, or content distribution * Familiarity with automating workflows and making manual processes scalable Culture at Ankar: Culture at Ankar is how we think, build, and operate. We’re building a generational company that redefines how the world’s best R&D teams create and protect ideas. * Contrarian - we think from first principles: We think deeply, question assumptions, and build from first principles. The best ideas come from clarity and rigour. * Creative - we build with taste: ****We’re building the R&D tools for the AI era and shaping what applied research looks like over the next 20 years. We care about precision, quality, and systems that last. * Competitiveness - we play to win: We move with urgency and set a very high bar for ourselves and each other. Every win raises the bar. Every challenge sharpens us. This role is not for you if... * You need a highly structured environment, a predefined playbook, regular working hours, or a schedule that never requires travel. We operate with high autonomy and ownership, expect our team to go above and beyond, be obsessed with our mission and thrive in ambiguity rather than wait for direction. * You prefer long planning cycles and certainty before acting. We move quickly, ship often, and adapt based on customer feedback and new information. * You want to manage the work rather than do the work. We're builders first, and everyone is expected to contribute directly to creating exceptional products. * You take it personally when ideas are challenged, priorities shift, or work gets redirected. We care more about finding the right answer than defending a particular one. What we put behind our people Building at the frontier takes exceptional people. We invest accordingly. * Health Insurance : Full private health & dental coverage for you and your dependents. * Pension: Flexible pension scheme with up to 5% employer matching on qualifying earnings. * Food on us: Team lunches twice a week, plus dinner when working late in the office. * Cycle to work: Green Commute initiative scheme (up to £3k) to help you get a new bike tax-free. * Way we work: We combine deep, in-person collaboration (3 days/week in our Shoreditch office) with flexibility and trust. What matters is ownership, impact, and results, not where you work from. What else you might want to know * Compensation: We pay competitive salaries and will reward you with a substantial equity package. * Hiring process (the process can be as fast as you want it to be): * (1) 30min introductory chat with Operations Lead * (2) 30min introductory chat with Founder * (3) onsite: 45min with Founder and 45min case study with Operations Lead
ABOUT DELFA Billions of people still suffer from every-day diseases. One key reason? Clinical trials are broken. Despite $120 billion spent each year, most trials are delayed due to bottlenecks like patient recruitment. Delfa is fixing this with autonomous AI agents. We're building AI agents to automate clinical trials. In less than a year from launch we’ve already: * Deployed onto 300+ trials across multiple conditions * Reached seven figures in ARR, growing 25% MoM * Raised an oversubscribed $3.8m seed from tier-one AI investors OVERVIEW Delfa is at a critical inflection: we have a proven offering which is on track to support the recruitment of thousands of participants into trials in 2026, while simultaneously expanding our offerings with new products for biopharmaceutical companies. You'll work directly with our CEO across the whole business. You will sit at the intersection of AI agent design, quality assurance, and customer delivery. You'll use AI tools extensively, but your judgment, attention to detail, and ability to spot issues will be what makes the work exceptional. WHAT YOU'LL DO * Design and deliver AI agents for our customers * Support pre-release testing of agents before they go live with patients * Sample real calls and patient interactions to identify issues, test fixes, and add recurring items to the monitoring list to inform future automated QA * Work closely with product, engineering, and our medical team to ensure agents are safe, accurate, and operationally useful * Build and document the operational playbooks that let us scale * Run discrete strategic projects across the business where an extra pair of capable hands moves the needle The mix will shift over time. The bottleneck today won't be the bottleneck in six months, so you'll be someone who can pick up whatever matters most and run with it. YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT IF... You're a driven generalist, early in your career. You're probably a couple of years into a top consultancy, startup, or other high-performing environment, and you're looking to get your hands dirty building from the ground up. You get things done. You're hungry, bought into the mission, and biased toward action. When you notice something broken, you fix it. You're coachable. You take feedback well, adapt quickly, and improve the process as you go. You can move fast without being careless. You have real attention to detail. You're comfortable reviewing dense clinical or operational documents and can spot when something is missing, unclear, or inconsistent. You care about quality. Our agents interact with real patients and support real clinical trials, so accuracy matters. You take pride in work that is careful, clear, and reliable. You're comfortable using AI tools. You don't need to be an engineer, but you should be excited to use prompts, structured workflows, and internal tools to produce high-quality work faster. You communicate clearly. You can explain complex clinical or operational logic in simple, structured language that customers, internal teams, and AI agents can all understand. LIFE AT DELFA Delfa is building a generational company to transform the way medications reach millions of patients in need. This is your opportunity to get in on the ground floor and work alongside the highest talent density team in the space, onsite at our London office 5 days a week: * A wine-snob who built foundation models at Roche at ETH Zurich * A former hedge fund trader with world class causal AI knowledge * A medical doctor turned AI engineer who builds prototypes on the weekend for fun * A ginger bloke who deployed production AI for J&J, Medtronic, and Exscientia WHAT WE OFFER * Competitive salary + meaningful equity * Private health insurance and gym membership * 25 days’ holiday + UK public holidays * Modern office space 5 mins from Old Street station * True 0 → 1 ownership. You’ll take full responsibility for the growth of our offering to get new treatments to patients, faster. OUR HIRING PROCESS We work to get you an offer within two weeks. 1. Intro chat with Tom (CEO) - 30 mins: A discussion about your experiences, values, and career goals, and give you an opportunity to get a sense of the role and the team. After this call we may ask you to share some work you’re proud of. 2. Case study - 90 mins: You will work together with our CEO on a case study designed to understand your ways of working and how you approach problem solving. 3. Challenge - 90 mins: We’ll invite you to our office to spend some time with us. We’ll give you a real life task and ask you to work through it with us. It will be the best opportunity for you to truly see if this is the right role for you and also for us to get a great idea of how you would collaborate. 4. Offer
