Plaid’s go-to-market Partnerships team drives growth by building and scaling relationships with strategic partners. Through integrations, these partners help extend Plaid’s Credit, Lending, and Banking solutions to more businesses and consumers. Partner Marketing plays a critical role in this ecosystem, enabling partners to attract, engage, and onboard customers at scale—making it one of the most effective levers for accelerating growth across Plaid’s partner network. We're looking for a Partner Marketing Manager to own the design and execution of joint marketing programs with Plaid's partners. This role is responsible for translating business objectives into clear GTM plans — covering propositions, launches, campaigns, enablement, and performance measurement — and acting as the primary marketing contact for partners across key product areas. Sitting within the Growth Marketing organization, you'll report to the Customer & Partner Marketing Lead and work alongside the Partner Marketing Manager. This is a high-impact, highly collaborative role for someone who enjoys building strong partner relationships, influencing across teams, and turning complex product positioning into compelling marketing that drives real pipeline. Responsibilities GTM Strategy & Planning * Partner closely with Partnership Leaders to understand key priorities and identify where we have marketing leverage * Translate business objectives into clear GTM plans covering propositions, launches, campaigns, enablement, and performance measurement * Identify and develop partner-led propositions that meet partner needs while aligning to Plaid's company goals Co-Marketing & Campaigns * Create and execute co-marketing campaigns with partners to drive awareness, demand, and adoption * Develop scalable content campaigns to engage a broad range of existing partners * Analyze performance data to optimize campaigns and improve ROI across the partner channel Partner Enablement * Act as the primary GTM contact for partners on propositions, launches, campaigns, and enablement * Create partner-ready enablement materials including decks, guides, FAQs, and onboarding content * Ensure partners are launch-ready and confident to sell effectively Cross-Functional Collaboration * Deeply understand Plaid's product areas across Credit, Lending, and Banking and translate them into partner-relevant messaging * Influence and organise stakeholders across partnerships, account management, product marketing, and communications to deliver against joint marketing plans * Manage timelines, approvals, and dependencies across multiple internal and external stakeholders * Monitor and analyze program performance, preparing clear updates and insights to support optimization and reporting Qualifications * 6–8+ years of relevant B2B marketing experience, including roles focused on partner or channel marketing * Experience working closely with technology and/or consulting partners to build joint marketing plans that drive customer acquisition and pipeline generation * Proven ability to influence partner marketing leadership teams and align on joint objectives and priorities * Experience shaping joint messaging with partners and translating product positioning into partner-ready content * Demonstrated ability to measure and improve ROI of marketing investments through an indirect/partner business model * Deep understanding of the partner channel funnel, sales cycle, and product lifecycle * Strong cross-functional skills with the ability to align stakeholders across partnerships, product marketing, product, and communications * Comfortable engaging with enterprise-level stakeholders and presenting to senior audiences * Experience at a high-growth technology company * Experience in payments, financial technology, Credit, Lending, or Banking * Background in partner enablement, revenue enablement, or sales enablement * Experience with marketing automation platforms (Marketo, HubSpot) or CRM (Salesforce) * Experience working with learning management systems (LetterAI) and employee enablement intranet platforms. * Strong ability to leverage AI (ChatGPT, Claude, Glean) tools and technologies to improve efficiency, automate workflows, and scale impact. The scope of this role covers all of Plaid's commercially available, customer-facing products. We’re looking for an experienced Developer Relations Engineer to help the world’s fintech companies (and we believe every company is a fintech company, even if they don't know it yet) integrate with Plaid's APIs. In this role, you’ll create best-in-class developer experiences, cementing Plaid's reputation as the most trustworthy, developer-friendly financial services API. This is a highly technical, highly visible role with direct impact on Plaid’s product, brand, and developer experience. Responsibilities * Create and evolve developer documentation for Plaid’s APIs – writing new content, and improving clarity, accuracy, and usability of existing content. Distill complex technical topics into approachable, accurate explanations for a broad developer audience. * Design and build sample applications, demos, and tutorial videos that demonstrate the benefits of integrating with Plaid’s APIs and the best practices to use during integrations. * Improve and maintain developer-facing resources, including the Postman collection, documentation website, and other assets. * Serve as the developer’s advocate, working with our developer community and translating external developer needs into actionable product and documentation insights for internal teams. * Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Design, and Marketing to ensure Plaid delivers a best-in-class developer experience and to build solutions that engage, activate, and onboard new developers at scale. Qualifications * 5+ years of experience in Developer Relations, Developer Advocacy, or similar roles, or a combination of 2+ years in Developer Relations and 3+ years in related technical roles such as Software Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Implementation, or Sales Engineering. * Ability to write clear, idiomatic code in at least one widely used backend language and one frontend language * Experience building sample applications and technical demos. * Experience writing high-quality developer documentation from scratch, and identifying gaps or opportunities in existing documentation. * Ability to quickly learn and clearly explain new technologies and concepts. * Strong developer empathy, with the ability to understand and communicate what matters most to developers. * Ability to thoughtfully leverage generative AI to accelerate your work while maintaining a high standard of quality in external-facing content. Nice to Have * Familiarity with OpenAPI. * Experience with web or mobile development. * Experience working on B2B APIs. * Experience building or growing developer communities around B2B APIs. * Strong presentation skills. * Experience creating technical content across formats such as slide decks, diagrams, web apps, or video. Sales Engineering unlocks and empowers prospects’ full potential on the Plaid Network. We bring product expertise and drive Revenue outcomes by being customer-obsessed technical advisors in the pre-sales process. You’ll work closely with our Enterprise Sales team as the technical lead during the pre-sales process. You will be responsible for partnering with Account Executives, proactively pushing deals forward by overcoming technical objections and building solutions around Plaid products. You will ensure a successful transition to the post-sale stage of the customer lifecycle and partner with account teams to drive adoption of new products by existing customers. You will be expected to have significant knowledge of the Fintech ecosystem and a deep understanding of how clients can best utilize Plaid. Responsibilities * Serve as the lead technical advisor for Enterprise accounts from discovery through solution design, evaluation, and post-sale handoff. * Partner with Account Executives to align Plaid capabilities to customer priorities across payments, wallets, gaming, travel, and lending. * Build alignment with technical, product, risk, and operations stakeholders on complex enterprise initiatives. * Lead demos, technical discovery, solution design, and RFPs across flows like wallet funding, merchant onboarding, fraud, and underwriting. * Play a hands-on role in pilots and POCs, defining success criteria, diagnosing gaps, and guiding tradeoffs * Refine sales assets, messaging, and technical playbooks to strengthen Plaid’s vertical go-to-market motion. * Help shape vertical strategy and GTM motions with cross-functional partners across Sales, Product, Partnerships, and Product Marketing. * Partner with engineering and product teams to turn customer feedback into actionable product insight. * Collaborate with the broader SE team to share best practices and raise team expertise. Requirements * 7+ years of customer-facing experience selling into or consulting for large enterprises. * Familiarity with Identity Verification, fraud, Income Verification, or cash flow underwriting, with a strong preference for fintech or payments experience. * Strong customer empathy and a consultative mindset, with the ability to connect technical choices to business outcomes. * A background that combines business judgment and technical acumen, including comfort with legal, compliance, and commercialization considerations. * Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to client management and cross-functional collaboration. * Ability to translate technical capabilities into business value * Fluency in insights products and statistical or ML models, with the ability to turn outputs into clear customer recommendations. * Ability to quickly understand new technologies and apply them to areas like AI-driven insights * Knowledge of mobile and web application architecture, especially for API integrations, bank-linking, identity, and payments flows. * Willing and able to travel up to 25% of the time.
