You’ll help build our high-velocity sales motion from the ground up, turning product-led demand into revenue.
This role is focused on speed, volume, and learning. You’ll work a high number of opportunities, run tight feedback loops, and
develop the instincts to become a world-class closer over time.

I'm Phil, Head of Sales at Plain, and the hiring manager for this role. Plain is redefining customer support for the next generation of B2B companies. We're building the fastest, most powerful platform to help companies move beyond reactive support and build true customer relationships. Some of the world's most forward-thinking companies, like Cursor, Ashby, and Sanity, trust Plain to unify all customer interactions, enable faster team collaboration, and supercharge their workflows with AI. We're a small team with offices in SF and London. This role is hybrid with 3 days a week in our SF office. WHY THIS ROLE IS SPECIAL You’ll be one of the first AEs on the ground in SF. You’ll have a front-row seat in shaping both our revenue engine and our product roadmap, while building deep relationships with some of the most exciting tech companies out there. WHAT YOU'LL DO * Own inbound leads, generate pipeline, and close deals. You’ll own the deals from end-to-end, including understanding customer pain points, helping them evaluate Plain, and negotiating final price and contract terms. * Work in collaboration with Demand Gen - they are building the pipeline, we want you to close it. * Continuously iterate sales fundamentals like ICP, pricing, segmentation, how we track deals, conversion ratios and how we build our TOFU/MOFU. * Bring the voice of the customer into product decisions; be a trusted partner to product and engineering. * You'll help onboard customers with expansion potential alongside our Ops team, who will be your partner on the post-sale side. * You will be joining our Velocity segment which sells to companies that are from 5-249 employees. THIS IS A GREAT FIT IF YOU… * Have sold complex, integration-heavy B2B SaaS to SMB. Bonus: the more technical the better. * Been part of an early GTM team (Series A to Series B) and know what “building from scratch” looks like. * Love the craft of sales - running crisp discovery, delivering the best product demos, and negotiating with confidence. * Are detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-moving environment where no two deals look exactly the same. * Care as much about shaping product as you do about hitting quota. * Want to be in office, and being in-market in San Francisco, meeting customers and learning from peers. We have some really exciting traction but are still at an early stage and are constantly learning and trying new things as our company grows. * Are looking for a Head of Sales role. There is a ton of growth opportunity in a role like this, but right now we need someone who is excited by closing individual deals and helping us to keep up with our growing pipeline. * Want to work within a larger sales team where there’s layers of SDRs and SEs supporting you. You’ll be hands-on across the full cycle. * Don’t enjoy working with product or engineering. Our sales process is very product-driven from start to finish. * Expect all the perks of a big company. ABOUT THE ROLE You’ll help define our go-to-market approach and make an immediate contribution to revenue growth, closing deals where Granola is already loved and converting engagement into paid business. You’ll be at the forefront of our growth: owning the sales cycle, engaging with high-potential prospects, and working closely with internal teams to deliver value to customers. WHAT YOU’LL DO * Engage with our highest-potential prospects and qualified opportunities. * Own the full sales cycle: from discovery to close. * Navigate security reviews, procurement, legal processes, and vendor management systems. * Help build and optimize our sales playbook and processes based on what works. * Conduct warm outreach to convert highly engaged free users into paid accounts.. * Play a pivotal role in building the SF office and sales team culture. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR Background & Experience * 3-5 years of experience as a top-performing Account Executive with a strong track record of success. * Proven success managing sales cycles end to end, including cross-functional stakeholder engagement (security, legal, procurement). * Comfortable with high-velocity sales processes. * Exposure to formal sales training and methodologies. ABOUT THE ROLE We’re looking for an experienced, motivated Corporate Account Executive to drive ElevenLabs' growth in small to medium sized businesses across the United States. Our ideal candidate is passionate about the transformative possibilities of AI voice technology, and eager to act as a strategic partner - enabling organizations to leverage our industry-leading models and product to reimagine their customer experience, internal workflows, and monetization strategies. In this role you will: 1. Build and manage a growing portfolio of new accounts across industries adopting conversational AI to help ElevenLabs meet its revenue goals. 2. Identify new business opportunities where ElevenLabs’ conversational AI capabilities can drive user engagement, automation, or cost efficiency. 3. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the conversational AI landscape, including customer use cases, competitive solutions, and emerging trends. 4. Demonstrate expertise—or a strong willingness to learn—about conversational AI and how ElevenLabs’ voice technology can unlock value across customer support, virtual agents, in-app assistants, and more. 5. Develop and execute account strategies to expand ElevenLabs’ presence within key verticals. 6. Partner closely with customer success and solutions engineering to ensure smooth onboarding and expansion of accounts. 7. REQUIREMENTS * 3+ years of quota‑carrying enterprise sales experience in SaaS or technology, ideally with exposure to AI, generative AI, LLM-based products, or API‑driven platforms. * Proven success closing deals and managing complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders. * Deep understanding of enterprise procurement and legal processes, with ability to accelerate deal velocity. * Experience selling technical solutions to product and engineering leaders; ability to translate complex technology into business value. * Strong executive presence and ability to build relationships at the exec level. * Comfort operating in an early‑stage, high‑growth environment, including building new playbooks and iterating quickly. * Passion for voice and audio AI and how it can unlock transformative value for customers. * A hybrid of customer & product-driven mentality that prioritizes client satisfaction & scale LOCATION This role is remote-first, so it can be executed from anywhere in the United States, however the ability to operate in EST, CST, or PST timezones is required. #LI-remote
