We are looking for a Director of Machine Learning to lead the Content and User Understanding team at Pinterest. This leader will
define the long‑term ML / AI vision, technical strategy and drive execution for building the company-wide content and user
understanding ML models and systems that power Pinterest’s critical product surfaces across homefeed, related, search, shopping,

THE ENGINEERING ARCHITECT TEAM The Architecture team is a small group of very senior engineers reporting to our VP of Engineering Excellence, working broadly across the organization in collaboration with Engineering, Product, and Security. We partner deeply with other Engineering teams for large projects, and provide direction and architectural guidance for smaller initiatives. We have a dual-pronged charter to “level up the tech stack and level up the people stack” via both technical contributions and partnerships/mentoring.
