Business Control Manager
As Business Control Manager for Production Unit Precision Strip, part of the Alleima Strip Division, you'll be a trusted business partner and a key member of the Production Unit (PU) Management Team. You'll bring finance and operations together, using financial insight to shape direction, strengthen performance and support sound business decisions.

Your Role
As the Business Control Manager for PU Precision Strip, you'll play a key role in driving financial performance while supporting the continued development of the business. As a member of the PU Management Team, you'll help shape the strategic direction of the PU and ensure that financial perspectives are embedded in operational and strategic decisions.
- Lead and support the local finance function, including direct responsibility for one team member.
- Drive business controlling, budgeting, forecasting and performance follow-up.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting, accounting and compliance within the PU.
- Contribute to strategic decision-making as a member of the PU Management Team.
- Connect finance and operations by translating financial insights into business actions and operational priorities into financial understanding.
- Contribute financial expertise to internal and Alleima-wide projects, while driving continuous improvements in financial processes, reporting and system support.
- Contribute to the PU's profitability, inventory management, working capital efficiency and long-term development.
About You
You hold a university degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, and you communicate fluently in both Swedish and English. As this role requires close collaboration with our operations and colleagues, regular presence at our Sandviken site is essential.
You bring solid and well-established experience from business controlling or a comparable finance role, with the ability to act independently, challenge constructively and provide financial leadership in a complex business environment. Experience from a manufacturing environment is beneficial but not required. What matters most is your curiosity, commercial mindset and your ability to quickly understand a new operation and apply your previous experience in a relevant way.
Whether you've led people before or are ready to take your first formal leadership role, you demonstrate leadership well beyond your own function. You have the ability to create trust, engage others and move topics forward across organizational boundaries.
