We commit to responsibility and frugality in AI, systematic AI impact at scale, and loyalty to our values and DNA.   To accelerate our business growth in the APAC region, we decided to open a new office in Shanghai (operational since January 2024).   About the role    As a Junior Business Scientist, you will be working on challenging projects with international blue-chip clients across diverse industries, on both advanced data analytics and consulting, including meeting with clients and building bespoke solutions to face their challenges. You will be working in teams of 3 to 6 Business Scientist, on 1 to 3 projects simultaneously.    You’ll be involved in projects from first discovery meetings all the way to final recommendations, gathering and analyzing data, building statistical models, translating quantitative insights into strategic recommendations. You will have the opportunity to be creative and suggest innovative approaches, and well as being pushed to grow into taking ownership of your projects.   You’ll be able to present your results and will be exposed to C-suite clients.   You’ll build expertise on several methodologies and industries and develop an exceptional combination of both technical and business skills. You will be accompanied in your learning process through our training program as well as through coaching and mentoring from colleagues. You will have high exposure to each member of our close-knit team, including the General Manager, Shanghai, who is leading the growth of this entity.   Finally, you’ll have the opportunity to both work for a leader in data analytics and have an impact in a strongly growing entity with high ambitions. Each consultant is highly involved in the challenges we are facing and contributes to our passionate, humble and ambitious team.   About you   We’re looking for talented candidates with the following profile:   ·       Graduates of Bachelors’ or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Economics, Engineering or a related analytical field. As Head of Engineering, you will be responsible for building, leading, and scaling this hub, owning the end-to-end engineering strategy, execution, and talent agenda. This role combines deep technical leadership, organizational building, and global stakeholder management. You will operate at the intersection of China’s highly advanced retail ecosystem and our global technology platform, delivering software products that power markets across the globe. You will report into global technology leadership and act as a key member of the Global Engineering Leadership Team. Your future role within QRT The successful candidate will join the global infrastructure team at QRT. You will be responsible for architecting, engineering and subsequent delivery oversight across all aspects of the QRT network estate but with particular focus on our colocation infrastructure. The trading infrastructure is a combination of wide area connectivity and ultra-low latency trading infrastructures.  The team will deliver network solutions which enable full lifecycle management (architect, design, build, operate, retire) for our network components across core network switching, firewalls, load balancers, instrumentation/telemetry, network CMDB, and automation. It is crucial that any candidates must be able to demonstrate delivery of complex networks, at scale, which have been delivered through a software and automation-driven mindset.  You will have deep knowledge of high-performance networking, including detailed knowledge of the product capabilities and roadmaps from the likes of Cisco, Arista and Fortinet. You will have direct experience of delivering and managing network solutions supporting corporate infrastructure and exchange specific ultra-low latency infrastructure with associated automation, telemetry and instrumentation frameworks.  Your present skillset * As a senior network engineer, you will partner closely with the project management teams and work in a highly collaborative manner within the network team and the wider organisation  * You will be member of an existing engineering team where you have direct responsibility and accountability for a complex and high-performance network infrastructures  * You will be able to demonstrate expert knowledge of delivering complex network architectures delivered via software driven and agile methodology  * You will have deep knowledge of delivering networks supporting high-performance and low latency computing architectures  * You will have deep knowledge of the network vendor ecosystem and be able to demonstrate building engineering relationships at senior layers with vendor product and engineering teams  * You will stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the network infrastructure remains cutting-edge  * You will have knowledge of wide area network engineering focused on traffic prioritisation and steering.  It would be good to have experience of Segment Routing.    QRT is an equal opportunity employer.
