The Community You Will Join:  We are looking for a talented and exceptional regional tax Principal to join our team in Asia Pacific (“APAC”).  You will be located in Singapore, but Australia is possible for an exceptional candidate. This role will report to the Director, APAC Tax, and proactively partner with our APAC Country Managers and International Markets team, Finance, Legal and Policy to anticipate and identify tax issues, recommend solutions, research and solve problems, and support go-to-market, and exercise good business judgment while performing these functions and working closely with our global tax team. The Difference You Will Make: * You will partner with internal stakeholders (Country and Territory Managers, Legal, Policy and Finance) and external advisers in response to the rapidly changing tax and legal landscape relating to technology companies: * Interface with cross-functional teams as well as external tax advisers to implement tax strategies * In alignment with HQ, interact and work closely with local and APAC Legal and Policy teams to understand and help implement the company’s tax policy goals. * As a regional tax Principal, You will own Airbnb’s tax obligations, manage risk and be the tax POC for the countries under your remit, which will include Australia, South Korea, and other geos in APAC as required. * Your work will help both guard Airbnb from tax risks within our control, as well as help Airbnb achieve its APAC growth ambitions.   A Typical Day:  * Manage local, country and regional-level tax negotiations, audits, negotiations with government authorities, implementations and oversee compliance.  This includes any interactions with the Australian Taxation Office, State Revenue Offices and the South Korean National Tax Service.  (As well as other geos as required.) * Partner with local advisers and APAC Finance to oversee Airbnb’s tax obligations in your countries; identify opportunities to minimise tax liabilities and provide tax input on local stat reporting * Assist with monitoring and analysing tax regulatory developments and tax law changes in the region, and communicate and document its impact to Airbnb and its business model * Where needed, research and analyse new business initiatives (including mergers & acquisitions), and maintain documented tax technical advice and update relevant stakeholders as appropriate * Manage special projects in the region, and provide input and manage portions of tax integration of newly acquired businesses as required   Your Expertise: * 12+ years of direct and indirect tax regional experience with majority of time spent in a combination of: * Big 4 accounting and/or law firm * AND multinational tech companies * platform / sharing economy experience strongly preferred * Strong foundation of tax technical knowledge with in-depth, practical experience evaluating and advising on international business initiatives * Regional tax experience required, which includes specific experience managing Australian tax issues (including ATO and state tax audits, as well as Advance Pricing Arrangements), as well as South Korea.  * Must operate independently and act as a strategic business advisor, while keeping all stakeholders informed of local issues, while seeking input and collaborating within the Tax team and cross functionally where appropriate. * Strong analytical and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize work, influence stakeholders and communicate effectively * Some international travel may be required * CA / CPA and/or LLB / LLM preferred   Our Commitment To Inclusion & Belonging: Airbnb is committed to working with the broadest talent pool possible. Available Location: Singapore  Role Summary We are seeking an exceptionally accomplished Principal Partner Account Manager to join our Service Provider (SP) and MSSP team and lead our APJ Service Provider (SP) & MSSP GTM strategy. Based in Singapore and reporting to the Senior Director, Global Service Provider Sales, you will be the driving force behind Cloudflare’s most strategic and high-value Service Provider partners. In an era where Cloudflare is moving toward highly automated operating models, you will leverage strategic data layers and automated pipelines to optimize partner engagement, eliminate manual overhead, and drive significant revenue growth. This role is ideal for a tech-forward leader who can articulate how Cloudflare seamlessly integrates into modern cloud operating models while steering cross-functional internal and external teams through an evolving technological landscape. Role Responsibilities * Create and implement strategic partner account plans for Service Providers that align with overall business objectives and automated growth targets. * Identify opportunities for joint ventures, co-marketing initiatives, and solutions integration that leverage the strengths of each partner. * Build joint go-to-market services and solution stack offerings, ensuring alignment with modern cloud architecture. * Drive high-level engagement between Cloudflare leadership and the SP’s senior executives, industry leads, and delivery teams to establish long-term market competitiveness. * Partner with internal teams to support the creation of scalable implementation practices, including automated training frameworks, certifications, and reusable reference architectures. * Own and run business and quarterly planning reviews, utilizing internal data layers to track partner performance metrics, revenue attribution, and market impact. * Leverage automated reporting pipelines to accurately forecast SP business weekly and drive pipeline development across multiple SP partners. Role Requirements * 10+ years of experience working with Asia Service Provider partnerships, with a proven track record of driving GTM success. * Experience working in the Technology sector, with deep network and/or cybersecurity experience being an absolute must. * Strong background in business development with Service Providers, with the ability to independently build strategies while navigating matrixed corporate environments. * Executive presence, negotiation skills, and a demonstrated ability to manage large enterprise partnerships and complex stakeholder environments. * Familiarity with data-driven decision-making and comfort operating alongside automated pipelines, tools, and modern data layers. * Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams. * Ability to travel 30-40% of the time across the APAC region. * Relevant Bachelor’s Degree. * Experience or familiarity with modern development workflows, automation tools, or AI-driven cloud operating ecosystems. * Established executive relationships within the tier-1 telecommunications industry across Asia. What You’ll Do * Own long-term executive relationships across Cloudflare's most strategic APAC accounts; engaging CIOs, CTOs, and CISOs on their multi-year technology agendas and positioning Cloudflare as a foundational platform, not a point solution.   * Design and facilitate executive vision-setting and architecture workshops that produce tangible outcomes: multi-year roadmaps, reference architectures, and business cases co-developed with customers' enterprise architects and engineering leadership. * Translate industry trends like Zero Trust, Digital Sovereignty, AI workload security, cloud-to-edge migration into actionable architectural strategies tailored to each customer's business context and regulatory environment. * Guide clients across the full engagement lifecycle; from strategic discovery and architecture design through proof of concept, value realisation, and expansion planning while proactively partnering with the Sales and Solutions Engineering team to surface architectural opportunities before deals are formally scoped.  * Elevate the architectural capability of the broader APAC Solutions Engineering team by developing reusable workshop frameworks, reference architectures, and best practices that others can apply independently; and by mentoring Solutions Engineers in senior stakeholder engagement. * Represent Cloudflare externally at industry events, executive roundtables, and sector forums as a credible peer to enterprise architects and technology leaders; produce content: white papers, architectural guidance that establishes Cloudflare's voice on key transformation themes across the region. What Success Looks Like * In your first 6 months: * You've established trusted advisor relationships with senior technical and business stakeholders across 3-5 of Cloudflare's most strategic APAC accounts. * You've designed and facilitated 2-3 executive vision-setting or architecture workshops that have resulted in documented multi-year roadmap alignment with Cloudflare embedded as a core platform component. * You've shaped at least one strategic engagement where you've connected Cloudflare's developer and edge compute capabilities to a customer's application modernisation or AI strategy; demonstrating platform breadth beyond security alone. * You've contributed at least one reusable asset to the APAC SE team; a workshop framework, reference architecture, or architectural playbook that others can apply independently. What We’re Looking For * 15+ years of experience in technical presales, enterprise architecture, or IT leadership (e.g., Chief Architect, CTO, CISO). * A genuine ability to operate at two levels simultaneously: credible in a boardroom conversation about digital strategy, and capable of going deep on architecture design with engineering teams. * Demonstrated experience leading executive-level workshops, technology strategy sessions, or architectural visioning engagements with tangible business outcomes. * Strong understanding of transformation priorities relevant to APAC enterprises: Zero Trust architecture, cloud and network modernisation, digital sovereignty and data residency, AI infrastructure, and application performance at scale. * Experience with modern application architecture patterns (microservices, APIs, event-driven systems, CI/CD, serverless and edge compute). * A track record of proactively contributing to pipeline and account expansion through architectural influence — not just responding to requests.   * Proven ability to enable and elevate peers: you've built frameworks, run internal enablement, or mentored others at scale. * Confident, compelling communicator in both executive business settings and technical deep dives and comfortable representing Cloudflare publicly at industry events. * Bonus: Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF), security standards (NIST SP 800-207, ISO 27001), and IT risk management principles relevant to regulated industries.
