Technical Assistants- -Waste Operations Roll Out Banyuwangi Hijau Programme Location: Banyuwangi, Indonesia Initial contract: 3-month fixed-term contract, with potential extension subject to programme needs and performance Expected programme period: July 2026 to December 2027 Level: Technical Assistant Background Banyuwangi Hijau is a partnership programme with the Banyuwangi Government to accelerate solid waste service development across the regency. The programme aims to provide household waste service access to approximately 1.4 million people and requires strong field implementation, stakeholder coordination, and operational support. ROLE PURPOSE The Technical Assistant, Roll Out will support the preparation and implementation of waste collection services in target villages, particularly Phase 3 villages. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Assess village readiness for waste service implementation. * Support mapping of service areas, collection routes, and operational schedules. * Support early-stage waste collection rollout in line with agreed standards. * Coordinate with village governments, UPT, DLH, and community stakeholders. * Track rollout progress and prepare village progress documentation. * Support knowledge transfer to local government operators. REQUIREMENTS Candidates should have: * An S1 degree in a relevant field. * At least 3 years of relevant experience. * Experience in waste operations, field implementation, or environmental programmes. * Strong coordination and stakeholder engagement skills. * Ability to work with government stakeholders and local communities. * Good analytical and problem-solving skills. * Good written Bahasa Indonesia skills. * Willingness to be based in Banyuwangi and travel regularly across the regency.
