Job Title - Senior Embedded Engineer
This is an assignment for an experienced engineer who thrives in a technical environment and enjoys solving complex problems in embedded systems. The work is primarily done in Linux User Space, where the developer should be well acquainted with components such as SystemD and D-Bus, as well as proficient in working with areas like certificate management, user management, and secure connections using OpenSSL and its implementations of cryptographic algorithms.
You should also have experience working with security, specifically PKI (Public Key Infrastructure), and be comfortable developing and maintaining secure embedded systems where authentication, encryption, and certificate handling are central parts of the solution.

In this role, you will be part of a dedicated and skilled team working in the early stages of product development. You will navigate unknown and changing requirements to help shape the future of our audio solutions. Your responsibilities Develop and implement embedded software for audio applications, specifically working with microphones and Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). Implement complex algorithms efficiently within resource-constrained embedded systems. Collaborate in cross-functional teams during early-phase project development, flexibly adapting to evolving requirements. Actively promote innovative solutions and pursue project goals with perseverance. Qualifications Extensive experience in software development on embedded systems (e.g., C/C++, FreeRTOS, or Zephyr). Proven experience working with microphones, audio processing, and Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). Experience in practical algorithm implementation and optimization for embedded platforms. The role As Hardware Engineer, you'll own hardware development activities across the product lifecycle—from electronic design and prototyping through to product maintenance and continuous improvement. You'll have the autonomy to solve technical challenges while working closely with hardware, firmware and product specialists. What you'll work on Design electronic hardware, including schematics and PCB layouts, for embedded security products. Develop, build and support prototypes through testing and validation. Troubleshoot returned products, identify root causes and implement hardware improvements. Manage component updates and end-of-life replacements to maintain product quality and availability. Collaborate with hardware, firmware and cross-functional teams to deliver robust technical solutions. Contribute to continuous improvements across hardware development processes, documentation and product quality. What will help you succeed Proven experience in electronic hardware development (typically around five years). Experience using ECAD tools within a product development environment. Strong communication skills and a proactive approach with the confidence to work independently and take ownership of technical challenges. Experience with Altium Designer is an advantage.
