This full-time leadership role requires 40 hours per week across five days. You’ll have the autonomy to manage your schedule while
ensuring strong store performance. Peak trading days are typically Friday to Sunday, and being available during these times will

What Success Looks Like: Your Impact * Responsible for leading the rooms division at the hotel, including housekeeping and front desk. * Selects, supervises, trains, develops, schedules, disciplines, and counsels staff. * Demonstrates positive leadership characteristics that empower and inspire employees to meet and exceed standards * In conjunction with the General Manager, acts as a direct liaison to all community organizations, city officials, industry associations and public relations entities * Ensures all applicable standards, policies and procedures are fully implemented in all departments * Participates in preparation of the annual operating budget and financial plans which support the overall objectives of the property * Works with General Manager to meet or exceed established budgetary guidelines for each property * Protects and enhances the value of all property assets through appropriate programs in maintenance, security, emergency preparedness, and capital improvements * Analyzes team-member and guest feedback and discusses findings with department leaders. Introduces and leads necessary changes and improvements in process and services * Act as the People & Culture (HR) representative for the property * Conducts administrative tasks related to recruiting, hiring and onboarding new team members * Responds to employment verifications and unemployment claims * Works together with the P&C Business Partner to manage employee relations, leaves of absence and workers compensation claims * Organize, maintain, and reconcile various financial records, both manually and through automated methods * Ensure proper internal control by monitoring guest ledger, advance deposits, and other related ledgers * Performs accounting related tasks including, but not limited to, cash/checks deposits, payments, monthly petty cash report, etc. What You Bring * At least 3 years progressive experience in a leadership role at a property of similar size and level of service * Working knowledge of all applicable laws, codes and regulations * Strong communication skills, including the ability to write contracts, reports, business correspondence, and operations manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from team members, managers, clients, guests or the general public * Strong general management skills, including time management, information analysis, planning and organizing, decision making, problem solving, and delivery of results * Strong financial management skills, including budget management, expense control, forecasting and analysis of financial statements * Strong people management skills, including coaching, motivating, delegating, scheduling and relationship-building Don’t meet every single requirement? Full-Time Guestroom Attendant | The Lodge at St. Edward Park The heart of any operation. Bring beautiful spaces to life. Your careful attention to detail brings delight to guests the moment they walk through the door. You are an essential part of an efficient and talented team, responsible for the cleaning and replenishing of guest rooms. This includes cleaning a designated number of rooms per shift and maintaining supplies. Housekeepers directly support the Rooms Division in maintaining the hotel in sparkling condition! What you’ll do: The Brass Tacks * Oversight of the day-to-day night operation of the property including front desk operations, and financial reconciliation and reporting. * Follows all procedures to ensure that all front office activities and services meet or exceed the established standards and goals. * Ensures confidentiality of all guest information and pertinent hotel data. * Assists guests, team members, and vendors during their shift. * Maintains a safe and secure environment for guests and team members. * Reports security concerns and problematic situations immediately to the General Manager or appropriate party. * Responds and work to resolve guest issues and concerns as necessary. * Evaluates patterns or trends in guest concerns to plan and implement corrective actions. * Provides regular and on-going communication with all departments to keep staff informed of updates, changes and/or problematic situations. * Parks and retrieves guest cars in a safe manner and in accordance with Lodge standards * Escorts incoming and outgoing Lodge guests to and from rooms, assists with luggage and offers information pertaining to available services and facilities of the Lodge, points of interest and entertainment attractions. * Maintains the image of the hotel by appearing extremely presentable, well-groomed and within dress code * Ensures front office, reception area, lobby and storage areas are clean and organized. * Ensures all equipment is properly maintained and functioning. * Ensures all equipment is used only as intended. * Completes property walks routinely to monitor guest safety and security * Delivers suitcases, packages and documents as requested. * Escorts incoming and outgoing hotel guests to and from rooms, assists with luggage, and offers information pertaining to available services and facilities of hotel, points of interest, and entertainment attractions. * Assists in de-icing of pavement, sidewalks, and other areas as applicable. * Removes ice from guests’ windshields, provides umbrellas as necessary. Maintains safety and security of guests and team members at all times, and in all weather conditions in regard to the valet parking areas The Nitty Gritty * Strong driving record * Must be 21+ * Ability to drive a manual transmission, parallel park, other technical driving skills * Strong verbal communication skills required * Must have valid driver license; annual MVR report review * Minimum 1 year hospitality experience required, 2 year hotel/clerk experience strongly preferred. * Previous experience in cash handling and computerized Point of Sale system strongly preferred. * Strong written and verbal communication skills required; bi-lingual skills preferred (English/Spanish). * Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills. * Ability to understand and apply labor and industry-specific laws and regulations. * Ability to park and retrieve guest vehicles. * Ability to secure property by walking up and down halls to make sure appropriate doors are securely locked. * Must possess basic negotiation skills and strong customer relations skills. * Strong computer skills: Full knowledge of Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Outlook, Excel and Word.
