About us
Ingrid was born out of a simple belief: the energy transition must move faster and work smarter. We're pioneers at the forefront of the global energy transition — pushing boundaries, turning bold ideas into reality, and solving the problems that matter most.
The INtelligent GRID of tomorrow needs to absorb and release more power. We develop, build and operate high-performance batteries — the lungs of modern energy infrastructure — enabling a more flexible and resilient energy supply across Europe. With 500 MW already deployed across the Nordics and rapid expansion into continental Europe, we manage, optimize and trade both our own assets and those of third parties through our sophisticated tech platform, making every battery — and the entire grid — stronger.
About the Role
Do you have proven asset management experience in renewable energy — preferably BESS — and a strong data-driven mindset? We’re looking for a BESS Asset Manager to help develop and run scalable processes across our growing portfolio of grid scale battery energy storage systems.
This role sits at the interface between technical performance management and data-driven analytics. You will own O&M and service agreement relationships while building deep know-how about BESS performance — tracking, analyzing and continuously improving how our assets operate across the portfolio.
You will report directly to the Head of Asset Management and play a key role in scaling one of Europe’s leading BESS portfolios.
Expect occasional travel within Sweden and the Nordics for site visits.
Key responsibilities
Data-Driven Asset Management
Build our data-driven asset management capabilities. Develop and implement best-practice, futureproof processes for technical and commercial monitoring, performance optimization, benchmarking and reporting across the current and future fleet.
Identify underperformance and improvement opportunities through data insights. Collaborate with internal tech and engineering teams to integrate new data sources and analytical tools, enhancing predictive maintenance and performance optimization. Drive long-term digitalization and automation of the AM function.
Commercial Performance & Financial Oversight
Track and report on revenue generation, cost drivers and P&L performance across assets.
Collaborate with the trading and optimisation team to ensure optimal conditions and consistent information exchange for asset optimisation, linking technical performance to commercial outcomes.
Scalable Processes & Reporting
Design, document and continuously improve repeatable processes, templates and routines (e.g. incident handling, RCA, change management, supplier follow-up) so that O&M and contract management can scale across multiple sites and countries.
Regularly prepare and present clear, data driven performance reports on contract performance, asset health and key risks for Ingrid’s management team and co-investors. Work cross-functionally to ensure knowledge from the operational phase flows into the broader organisation.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone with 5+ years of relevant experience in asset management, operations, performance engineering or commercial analytics within the energy or infrastructure sector. Proven experience with grid-connected assets — ideally BESS or renewables (wind/solar) — is essential. Experience commissioning and transitioning assets from construction to operations is highly valuable, as is familiarity with European power markets and ancillary services.
Next step
We’ll make selections on an ongoing basis and finalize the recruitment as soon as we’ve found the perfect match.

We look forward to hearing from you!

⚡️ What We Do Flower is Flexible Power. We are a next-gen energy company leveraging AI and machine learning to make renewable energy stable and always available – even when the sun isn't shining and the wind isn't blowing. Through smart optimization and trading of energy assets like wind and solar farms, battery systems, and EV chargers, we make renewable energy reliable and predictable, leading the charge towards the energy system of tomorrow. 🌟 Who We Are Tech company at heart – purpose in our DNA. Flower consists of a diverse group of innovative individuals with a strong desire to improve the state of the world. At Flower, we believe trust, collaboration and diversity are essential to not only create an inclusive work environment, but also drive career growth. By embracing varying perspectives, we allow creativity and progress to flourish. To accelerate towards our goal of becoming the pioneering force powering the energy system of tomorrow, we are now looking for a passionate and skilled Grid Manager to join our Asset Development domain. About the role As our Grid Manager, you will help Flower build a project portfolio that is adapted to the markets of tomorrow by enabling the best possible grid conditions of our projects. You will help Flower maintain its competitive edge by combining deep technical analysis of grid conditions with proactive TSO/DSO engagement. This is a role with real ownership - you'll ensure that acquired and developed projects are feasible and optimised for long-term value, as well as identify and mitigate connection risks early so projects stay investable and execution-ready. You will play a key part in shaping how Flower develops its grid capabilities as the business grows - making this a role where your expertise and input genuinely matter beyond the day-to-day. What you'll do Lead technical grid due diligence for acquired and in-house BESS projects; dig into connection offers and agreements and identify the red flags others miss Act as Flower's technical interface with TSOs and DSOs: define the right questions for each project phase, identify uncertainties, and ensure that possible restrictions are identified and understood. Evaluate and mitigate connection restrictions and translate them into clear project impact and risk assessments. Support local and external developers in their dialogues with grid operators, keeping conversations focused on what actually matters at each stage to cut timelines and optimize the connections. Own structural and legal grid risk screening and coordinate closely with our Legal team. Manage risks arising from connection structure changes: e.g switching of connection point or voltage levels, tariff impacts, availability requirements and grid code updates. Represent Flower in grid policy discussions and working groups - including forums that shape the future of flexible grid agreements in Germany and Europe - to actively influence the conditions in the markets we operate in. Serve as the go-to grid expert internally across EPC, Asset Ops, Trading, Strategy, and Commercial, and work closely with Market Intelligence and Finance to make sure grid risk is properly understood and priced across the business. Who you are You have 5-10 years of hands-on experience with grid-related topics, either at a grid operator or on the developer side. You understand what it takes to get a large BESS project connected in Germany - the technical complexity, the regulatory landscape, and the relationship dynamics with TSOs and DSOs. You're equally comfortable in a detailed connection agreement as in a room with senior stakeholders. Specifically, you bring: Solid experience with grid connection processes in the German power system - the regulatory framework, the key players, and the realities of getting things done with German TSOs and DSOs. Fluency in both German and English: this is essential. You'll be working directly with German grid operators, reviewing German-language technical documentation, and representing Flower in German-language forums. Strong interpersonal and network-building skills. The relationships you build with TSOs, DSOs, developers, and policymakers are as important as your technical knowledge. The instinct to identify future developments in the energy system and understand what they mean for Flower's business case. A problem-solving mindset and the confidence to make judgement calls in ambiguous situations without waiting for perfect information. An engineering or similar technical degree is a plus, but what matters most is that you know the space deeply and can work autonomously at a senior level. 📍 Location Our beautiful office is located in the heart of Södermalm, just a short walk from Slussen subway station. We encourage in-office collaboration but support a hybrid work model. ✉️ Apply Our corporate language is English, as we have about 30 nationalities in the office. We therefore appreciate it if you could submit your CV in English. Throughout the recruitment process you will meet with the Talent Partner, the Team, and the VP of Asset Development. We look forward to hearing from you! —- We kindly but firmly decline any engagement in recruitment assistance for our hiring processes.
