support that growth, we're looking for a driven, structured and analytically sharp Head of Accounting to join our Finance team,
reporting directly to the CFO.
This is a key role for someone who wants to take ownership over the accounting foundation of a growing international business,
while also helping build the financial processes, controls, reporting structures, and automation capabilities needed for the
future.
We are looking for someone who combines strong technical accounting skills, commercial curiosity and a genuine hands-on mentality
to build a best- in-class finance function.

Om rollen Som Head of Accounting får du en central position i organisationen och arbetar nära CFO, VD, revisorer och andra nyckelpersoner i verksamheten. Du ansvarar för redovisning och bokslut för koncernens bolag och säkerställer hög kvalitet i de finansiella processerna. Minst lika viktigt är att du driver ekonomifunktionen framåt. Målet är att steg för steg bygga en mer AI-driven redovisning, med färre manuella moment, snabbare avstämningar och mer tid till analys och affärsstöd. Ditt uppdrag I rollen som Head of Accounting kommer du bland annat att: Driva utveckling och automatisering av system, processer och arbetssätt, med sikte på en alltmer AI-driven ekonomifunktion. Ansvara för redovisning, bokslut och årsredovisningar för koncernens bolag, samt gruppkonsolidering mot banken. Säkerställa effektiva, kvalitetssäkrade och skalbara ekonomiprocesser. Vara en nära partner till CFO och bidra med finansiella insikter till verksamheten. Vi tror att du Har en akademisk examen inom ekonomi och flera års erfarenhet av kvalificerat redovisningsarbete. Du är trygg i bokslut, årsredovisningar och K3, samtidigt som du har ett genuint driv att hitta smartare sätt att jobba på. Som person är du nyfiken, strukturerad och prestigelös. ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a Head of Accounting & Control to take full ownership of our financial reporting and control environment across the Nordic region. This is a key leadership role where you will own the financial truth for four countries – ensuring our numbers are accurate, timely and built on a strong foundation of governance and control. Reporting to the CFO, and working closely with our EMEA Controllership team, you will lead the end-to-end record-to-report process. You bring structure, clarity and high standards into how we close, report and control our financials – while also developing a high-performing accounting team. At Culligan Nordic Group we combine global strength with local presence – and this role sits right at the heart of that. 🎯WHAT YOU WILL DO OWN THE FINANCIAL BACKBONE OF THE NORDICS * Take full ownership of the general ledger and the end-to-end record-to-report process * Lead the monthly, quarterly and annual close across all Nordic entities * Ensure accurate, timely and high-quality reporting every cycle DRIVE REPORTING AND BALANCE SHEET INTEGRITY * Own statutory reporting across the Nordic cluster * Lead group reporting under US GAAP in line with global requirements * Ensure strong balance sheet integrity through well-controlled and documented reconciliations * Bridge local GAAP and US GAAP, ensuring differences are understood and managed STRENGTHEN CONTROLS AND GOVERNANCE * Own and continuously improve the financial control environment * Ensure compliance with local regulations, group policies and SOX requirements * Identify risks and control gaps, and drive improvements across the function LEAD AUDITS END-TO-END * Act as the main point of contact for statutory, group and internal audits * Ensure audits are well-coordinated, structured and delivered on time * Follow through on findings and ensure actions are implemented LEAD AND DEVELOP THE TEAM * Build, lead and develop the accounting and control team across the Nordics * Create a culture of ownership, accountability and collaboration * Strengthen both technical capability and leadership within the team PARTNER WITH THE BUSINESS * Work closely with FP&A, tax, finance operations and EMEA HQ * Support senior stakeholders with insights and sound financial judgement * Balance business support with a strong and independent control mindset 🧩WHO YOU ARE You combine strong technical expertise with a natural ability to lead and create structure. YOUR BACKGROUND You bring a strong foundation in finance and accounting, together with experience from leading roles. To succeed in this role we believe that you: * Are a qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CPA or Nordic equivalent), or have built equivalent expertise through experience * Have several years of experience within accounting, controllership or financial reporting * Have experience leading and developing teams * Are comfortable working in a multi-entity, multi-country environment * Have strong communicational skills in English as well as one Nordic language (Swedish, Norwegian, Danish or Finnish) YOUR EXPERTISE You feel confident owning the full picture – from close to reporting to control. THE ROLE We’re looking for an Accountant to own the day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting operations across our European entities - Sweden, Poland, Germany, and the UK. You’ll be a foundational hire on the finance team, reporting to the Group Controller and working closely with local teams and external providers to deliver timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting across all four markets. In this role, you’ll own daily accounting operations - partnering closely with HR, RevOps, Sales, and Customer Success to maintain clean books and ensure reliable data across the group. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of accounting principles who thrives in a high-ownership and fast-moving environment. Key Responsibilities * Own the Swedish, Polish, German, and U.K. accounting cycle – processing and recording individual transactions and processing period-end closing entries and analysis * Support external audit processes by preparing workpapers for auditors * Use modern finance tools, data platforms, and AI-enabled workflows where appropriate to improve efficiency, accuracy, and insight * Maintain and improve accounting processes and internal controls across the finance and accounting function * Manage Order to Cash and Purchase to Payment cycles, ensuring accurate, timely processing, and working capital management * Assist with compliance monitoring across our European entities Who you are * Degree in Accounting or Finance * Several years experience in accounting, with exposure to transaction processing, journal entry booking, month-end close, and financial reporting * Conceptual understanding of accounting principles (IFRS/K3/US GAAP) and how that impacts the general ledger * Exposure to accounting process improvements, including automation, workflow refinement, or system changes is a plus * SaaS, subscription, or tech accounting experience is a strong plus * Familiarity with multi-entity, multi-currency accounting environments is a plus WHAT WE OFFER * Play a key role in an exciting journey.
