As a Helix Junior Developer, you will build and configure solutions on the Helix platform, turning designs into working
components. With guidance and mentoring from senior colleagues, you will grow your technical skills while helping deliver

Duties
Configure and build Helix components (ITSM, Digital Workplace (DWP), Business Workflows (BWF), Innovation Suite) based on designs
and guidance from senior colleagues.
Implement workflows, forms, and request experiences following established platform patterns and standards
Support the development of integrations between Helix and surrounding systems (for example DevOps tools)
Assist with bug fixing, testing, and troubleshooting across Helix solutions
Document configurations and changes clearly so they are easy to maintain
Participate in code and configuration reviews to learn platform best practices
Grow your understanding of ITSM, ServiceOps, and IT4IT ways of working
Collaborate with developers, designers, and platform teams to deliver high-quality solutions
Mandatory; Some experience from the BMC Helix platform
A foundation in software development, configuration, or low-code platform work, from studies, internships, or early professional
experience

The Pacu Team is responsible for maintaining and developing business-critical case management applications used primarily by Customer Service. These applications support daily operational processes and are important for efficient customer case handling, stable service delivery, and a good user experience for internal users. The team is entering a period with a significant set of lifecycle management activities related to older applications. This includes modernization, technical debt reduction, platform upgrades, and remediation of lifecycle and security-related risks. In parallel, the team will contribute to building a new modern user interface to support the KYC process within the case management area. The two consultant roles are intended to strengthen the team in complementary areas: one with a stronger focus on LCM activities combined with Angular/frontend guidance and capability building, and one with a stronger focus on legacy modernization, lifecycle management (LCM), and technical risk reduction. Both consultants are expected to work as integrated team members, contribute across shared priorities, and support the team's ambition to increase the use of AI-assisted development in everyday engineering work.
