EY-Parthenon is looking for Senior Consultants and Engagement Managers to join our Strategy & Execution team in the Nordics with focus on Technology and IT in deals and transactions (“Deal Technology”). We are building a dedicated capability at the intersection of technology, private equity, and corporate transactions - supporting clients across IT due diligence, carve-outs, integrations, and technology-driven value creation.
We are looking for individuals with genuine interest in project delivery, problem-solving capabilities, and a hands-on and driven mindset in management and strategy consulting.
Your key responsibilities
In this role, you will work on high-impact deal situations where technology is a key value driver or risk, combining strategic insight with hands-on execution in complex, time-critical environments. You will collaborate closely with experienced colleagues and senior stakeholders, often in cross-border Nordic and international teams, alongside private equity investors and corporate M&A functions.
From day one, you will take on meaningful responsibility, gain direct client exposure, and accelerate your development as a consultant, supported by a dedicated career counselor and a strong focus on continuous growth at EY-Parthenon.
Leading IT / Technology due diligence in acquisition processes
Defining carve-out and separation strategies, incl. TSA design and IT disentanglement
Supporting Day 1 readiness, PMI and integration planning
Driving large-scale IT transformation programs in a deal context (e.g. ERP, cloud, application landscape)
Defining target operating models and enterprise architecture in complex environments
Delivering technology-driven value creation initiatives (e.g. data, AI, digital platforms)
Advising clients on the role of technology, data and AI in transactions and transformations
Skills and attributes for success
We are looking for ambitious and analytically capable individuals with relevant industry experience who thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy solving complex business problems together with clients and colleagues.
Ability to structure complex topics and analyses into actionable recommendations
Strong commercial thinking and ability to understand the financial and operational drivers of a business.
Interest in transactions, business transformation and value creation consulting
To qualify for the role, you must have
Master’s degree in business, economics, engineering or other relevant field
3-6 years of experience in consulting, transaction advisory, strategy, M&A, corporate development or similar roles
Experience of technology/IT in transactions, separations, integrations and broader strategic change
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Fluent English skills; Nordic languages are considered an advantage
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and international environment

EY-Parthenon is looking for an Engagement Manager with significant experience from operational related M&A projects, specifically within carve-outs. The role is part of our Nordic practice and can be based in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Oslo, Copenhagen, or Helsinki, working closely with colleagues and clients across the region. Your key responsibilities As an Engagement Manager in EY-Parthenon’s dedicated carve-out practice, you will play a pivotal role in helping clients navigate complex carve-out transactions and separation programs. Working across the full deal lifecycle, from pre-sign strategy and diligence through post-sign execution, you will support both buy-side and sell-side engagements. In this role, you will help organizations make critical decisions that shape business performance, operational readiness, and long-term value creation. You will work closely with leading corporates and investors on high-profile, complex transactions, while also contributing to the continued growth and evolution of our market-leading carve-out practice, capabilities, and team. Some of the key responsibilities include; Leading buy- and sell-side carve-out engagements from pursuit and scoping through delivery and client management Driving carve-out analyses, standalone operating model design, cost assessments, separation planning, and TSA scoping Establishing and leading Separation Management Offices for Day 1 and IPO readiness programs Supporting the development and expansion of our carve-out offering Mentoring junior team members and fostering an inclusive, high-performance team culture Skills and attributes for success Proven experience leading carve-out and separation programs across the deal lifecycle, gained within strategy consulting, transaction advisory, corporate development, M&A, or a related environment. This is a key role for someone who enjoys high-quality accounting, structured closing processes, statutory compliance and continuous improvement in an international and entrepreneurial environment. As Senior Accountant, you will take ownership of core accounting routines for Minnovation’s Swedish entities and support selected group accounting activities. You will work closely with the CFO and collaborate with colleagues, payroll providers, auditors, banks and external authorities to ensure accurate, timely and compliant financial reporting. About Minnovation Minnovation is an international HR consulting and business services company headquartered in Stockholm. We support companies and individuals across the Nordic region and wider European markets with services including staffing, recruitment, training, outsourcing, workforce administration and related business support. About the role In this role, you will be responsible for accurate day-to-day accounting, monthly and year-end closing, balance sheet reconciliations, VAT and tax-related reporting, payroll accounting support, audit documentation and process quality. The role is operational and detail-oriented, but also offers the opportunity to improve routines, strengthen internal controls and contribute to better finance processes as the company continues to grow. Key responsibilities Own and maintain accurate accounting records for Minnovation’s Swedish entities. Lead monthly, quarterly and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, prepayments, cut-off checks and closing documentation. Prepare and document balance sheet reconciliations, including bank, AR, AP, tax, payroll-related and intercompany accounts. Prepare VAT, employer tax and other recurring statutory reports in line with Swedish requirements. Who we are looking for We are looking for a structured, accurate and self-driven accounting professional who enjoys taking ownership of recurring finance processes and improving how things are done. You are comfortable working hands-on with detailed accounting tasks while also understanding the bigger picture behind financial reporting, compliance and internal control. Qualifications and experience Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field. Minimum 5 years of qualified accounting experience, preferably including month-end and year-end closing in a Swedish company or group environment. Solid knowledge of Swedish accounting rules and statutory reporting requirements, including Swedish GAAP, K2/K3, the Swedish Annual Accounts Act, VAT, employer taxes and annual accounts. Experience with general ledger accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, cut-off, AR/AP processes, bank reconciliations and audit preparation. Experience with payroll accounting, personnel cost reconciliations and cooperation with payroll providers is highly desirable. Experience from a group structure, international environment, service business, staffing, consulting, payroll or outsourcing/EOR-related operations is an advantage. Strong system skills, including accounting or ERP systems such as Visma or equivalent, and advanced Excel skills. Excellent written and spoken Swedish and English; Chinese or another relevant language is an advantage but not required. Personal skills Strong accounting judgement and ability to identify risks in balances, cut-off, accruals, tax reporting and payroll-related accounts. High attention to detail, accuracy and documentation quality. Structured and process-oriented, with the ability to improve routines, checklists and internal controls. Hands-on, self-driven and comfortable working independently. Analytical and able to explain accounting variances and financial issues clearly. High integrity and discretion when handling confidential financial, payroll, employee and customer-related information. Interim Responsible Value Chain Manager Are you a senior consultant with experience in due diligence, compliance and responsible value chains within metals and minerals? Would you like to contribute specialist expertise in an international industrial company where responsible business conduct, business ethics and regulatory compliance are business-critical matters? The role On behalf of our client Boliden, we are looking for an experienced Responsible Value Chain Manager for a one-year assignment. Strategically important and plays a central role in ensuring continuity, quality and regulatory compliance in Boliden’s work with due diligence and responsible business conduct in the global metals and minerals value chain. The role is placed within the sustainability function and reports to the Sustainability Manager. You will be part of a specialist team with senior expertise in environment, product responsibility, sustainability governance etc. The role also has an important interface with senior management, including reporting on business partner evaluations and the progress and results of the program. About the assignment The assignment will start in October and run for one year. The preferred location is Stockholm. The role involves recurring international travel to conduct on-site assessments and meet current and potential business partners. You will drive and follow up Boliden’s Responsible Value Chain Program, including due diligence of partners in the global metals and minerals value chain. You will ensure that risk-based and impact-driven due diligence is integrated into business decision-making and that the work meets internal requirements, industry standards and an evolving regulatory landscape. You will act as a senior advisor to commercial and functional teams, strengthen organisational capability and exercise independent judgement in complex matters related to compliance, ethics, human rights and relevant areas. The role also involves leading cross-functional delivery, translating requirements into processes, and contributing to clear governance and consistent execution.. Meritorious: · Experience from the mining, metals, raw materials or process industry. · Experience of responsible sourcing standards and industry requirements in the mining and metals industry, JDDS, LBMA, LPPM, LME Responsible Sourcing Requirements or Copper Mark. · Knowledge of the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises, the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas, and relevant or upcoming legislation such as CSDDD and the EU Conflict Minerals Regulation. · Legal background or another clear compliance profile. · Spanish or Portuguese language skills.
