IHRE AUFGABEN Architectural Design, Constructive Development & Integration * Lead the architectural and constructive design development of technically complex projects from concept through detailed design. * Translate architectural concepts into buildable systems with a strong focus on constructability, detailing, and execution logic. * Develop and coordinate technical details involving steel, glass, membrane, and hybrid construction systems. * Ensure architectural designs are fully coordinated with structural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines. * Evaluate architectural solutions with respect to feasibility, performance, durability, and execution constraints. * Maintain design quality while balancing technical, functional, and economic requirements. * Contribute to defining future workflows, role profiles, and interface standards for mechanical engineering. * Actively produce and develop architectural drawings, models, and technical details as part of the project team. Digital Tools, Modeling & Documentation * Actively work with industry-standard design and modeling tools, including AutoCAD, Rhino, Revit, and Inventor, as part of daily project work. * Develop and coordinate 2D drawings, 3D models, and technical details suitable for coordination, tendering, and execution. * Support BIM-based workflows and interdisciplinary coordination using digital models. * Ensure digital models and drawings reflect constructability, tolerances, and interface requirements. Technical Project Leadership & Coordination * Act as the architectural project lead within interdisciplinary project teams, leading through direct technical contribution and coordination. * Coordinate architectural inputs across internal disciplines and external consultants. * Take ownership of architectural interfaces, tolerances, and integration with adjacent systems. * Support the preparation of coordinated design packages suitable for tendering, fabrication, and construction. * Participate in technical reviews, design workshops, and coordination meetings with clients, engineers, and partners. Fabrication, Construction & Site Support * Support architectural aspects during fabrication and construction phases to ensure design intent is correctly implemented. * Review shop drawings, mock-ups, and samples in coordination with engineers and suppliers. * Provide architectural input during site activities, addressing technical queries and interface issues. * Ensure architectural details are executed in line with approved designs, specifications, and quality standards. Mentoring, Knowledge Sharing & Technical Development * Provide technical guidance and constructive feedback to junior architects within project teams. * Actively support the development of architectural detailing, material understanding, and construction knowledge across the team. * Contribute to internal standards, best practices, and constructive design methodologies. * Foster a culture of precision, craftsmanship, and technical curiosity within the design team. Quality, Documentation & Design Governance * Ensure architectural documentation is clear, consistent, and suitable for technical coordination and execution. * Maintain traceability of design decisions, changes, and approvals throughout the project lifecycle. * Support compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project-specific requirements. * Contribute to structured design reviews and internal quality assurance processes. Required Skills and Experience * 7–10 years of professional experience as an architect in a technically driven and constructive environment. * Strong hands-on experience in constructive detailing and technical design development. * Broad understanding of materials and systems, including steel, glass, membrane, and lightweight structures. * Proven ability to coordinate architectural work within interdisciplinary engineering teams. * Confidence in taking a project-based leadership role while remaining a hands-on contributor within the design team. * Ability to mentor and technically support less experienced architects. * Strong communication skills and ability to articulate design intent clearly to engineers, suppliers, and site teams. * Strong practical proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino, Revit, and/or Inventor; ability to work hands-on within project teams. * Comfortable switching between conceptual design, detailed technical development, and coordination documentation. We are seeking a Team Lead for Trade Analytics & Market Intelligence to act as the Ted Lasso of our data analytics team. Reporting directly to the Director of Trade Management, you will own the architectural backbone of our trade management decision-making. This is a hybrid role. You will spend a significant portion of your time hands-on in the code—building complex data models, writing high-performance queries, and designing algorithms. Simultaneously, you will lead and develop a small, agile team consisting of a seasoned Analyst and a Market Intelligence Specialist. You will be the bridge between raw data and high-level strategy, directly influencing how we handle Procurement, Pricing, and Forecasting. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Lead Technical Strategy & Analytics * Own the Data Architecture: Architect and maintain the data pipelines and models that drive our GP reporting, demand forecasting, and yield management engines. * Hands-On Development: personally write and optimize complex code (SQL, Python/R) to solve our hardest analytical problems. You are the technical escalation point for the team. * Forecasting & Modeling: Build robust predictive models to anticipate market demand and capacity constraints, allowing the Procurement team to buy smarter and the Pricing team to sell more effectively. * Visualization: Design comprehensive dashboards (Looker/Tableau/PowerBI) that translate complex data sets into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership and non-technical stakeholders. Market Intelligence & Insight Generation * Synthesize Data: Oversee the gathering of external market data (indices, competitor behavior, macro-trends) and merge it with our internal performance data. * Strategic Guidance: Provide specific, data-backed recommendations to Trade Managers regarding trade lane strategy, carrier negotiations, and risk management. People Management & Development * Build the Team: Manage, mentor, and develop two direct reports (a Market Intelligence Specialist and an Analyst). * Set the Standard: Establish best practices for coding, data hygiene, and reporting standards within the Trade team. Resource Management: Prioritize the team’s backlog to ensure we are solving the most critical business problems first. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field. * 7+ years of experience in advanced analytics, data science, or quantitative modeling, with at least 1-2 years experience mentoring or leading junior analysts. * Technical Mastery: * Expert-level proficiency in SQL (complex joins, window functions, query optimization). * Strong programming skills in Python or R for statistical modeling. * Deep understanding of commercial levers (Pricing, Gross Profit, Yield, Procurement). * A proven ability to explain technical concepts to business stakeholders and a passion for helping team members grow their skills. PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE * Experience specifically within Freight Forwarding, Container Shipping, or Global Logistics. * Experience with Yield Management or Revenue Management algorithms. * Familiarity with financial hedging strategies or risk modeling. YOUR PROFILE * You bring strong, hands-on experience in enterprise cloud administration — ideally with GCP — and know how to design, operate, and scale cloud environments that real businesses depend on. * You have solid practical experience with Kubernetes, containerisation, and virtualisation technologies such as Docker and VMware, and you're comfortable navigating complex, layered infrastructure. * Your networking knowledge is deep and grounded — TCP/IP and related protocols are second nature to you, and you can diagnose and resolve network issues with confidence. * You implement best practices for network security and governance, ensuring that access, segmentation, and policy controls are consistently applied and continuously improved. * You're proficient in at least one scripting or programming language such as Python or shell, and you use code as a tool to make infrastructure smarter and more maintainable. * You have hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting Google Workspace and Linux environments, and you know how to keep them healthy and secure. * You've set up and improved monitoring and visualisation systems, and you understand how good observability translates into faster incident response and better decision-making. * A background in engineering or computer science is a plus — what matters most is that you bring structured thinking and hands-on experience to make systems work together.
