About the Role You will take technical ownership of migration and stabilization work across business-critical integrations in an insurance and pension platform. The environment combines legacy services, hybrid components, and operationally sensitive flows where safe execution, rollback readiness, and minimal business disruption are central to success. This is a hands-on individual contributor role where you work independently in complex legacy environments while collaborating closely with infrastructure, DBA, MQ, and operations teams. You will help move critical integrations forward without compromising stability, and your decisions will have a direct impact on production reliability. Job DescriptionYou will execute migration activities across legacy and modern integration components. You will validate environment parity and remove runtime blockers ahead of cutover. You will diagnose and resolve production-critical issues in services, queues, and integrations. You will build and run end-to-end verification and rollback tests to support safe releases. You will create clear runbooks and deployment notes to enable repeatable execution. You will work with infrastructure, database, MQ, and operations specialists to secure stable migration outcomes. You will ensure acceptance criteria are met before go or no-go decisions are taken. RequirementsStrong experience with C# and .NET Framework 4.x. Experience maintaining and migrating WCF, SOAP, and ASMX services. Hands-on experience with IIS deployment and troubleshooting, including application pools, bindings, and configuration. Experience with Windows Services and Task Scheduler based batch operations. Experience troubleshooting SQL Server and handling secure configuration. Knowledge of IBM MQ integration fundamentals, including connectivity, queue diagnostics, and channel diagnostics. Experience with PowerShell automation for deployment, verification, and operations. Experience working with TFS and Git based workflows and collaborating around CI/CD pipelines. General knowledge of PKI. You have delivered migrations in legacy enterprise systems with low incident impact. You have direct production experience from IIS and WCF or ASMX cutovers. You can show practical MQ troubleshooting and backlog handling under pressure. You have worked with rollback strategy and execution in real releases. You balance migration speed with operational safety. Nice to haveExperience with C or C++ maintenance in Windows service environments. Knowledge of mainframe-adjacent integration patterns such as EBCDIC and file bridge patterns. Exposure to containers and Kubernetes in environments where legacy services coexist with modern APIs. Experience with production observability and incident response in regulated environments. Experience with legacy security hardening, including service accounts and encrypted settings portability.
