Software Tester role within VCT EE I/T focused on Complete Vehicle Integration Test SIL/HIL testing. The position involves performing complete vehicle integration testing and verifying electrical systems from an integration perspective. The role covers the entire testing lifecycle and contributes to the continuous improvement of test methods and environments to ensure Scania's embedded electrical systems meet high quality and safety standards.
Perform complete vehicle tests and verify complete electrical systems from a SW integration perspective (~20-30SW deliveries/4week).
Execute integration tests for both new and existing functionality.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of test methods and test environments for current and future functionality.
Verify functionality and quality through SIL/HIL testing activities.
Support efforts to ensure Scania's embedded electrical systems are safe and of high quality for customers.
Engineering background within Mechanical Engineering, Embedded Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
Verification and/or Validation experience.
Python experience.
Experience performing testing activities and fault analysis.
ISTQB certification.
Experience with SIL/HIL testing.
Experience with complete vehicle integration testing.
Experience working with electrical systems from an integration perspective.
English
Analytical and systematic approach to problem solving.
Good and precise communication skills.
Interest in understanding root causes of issues.
Interest in testing and technology.

Focus area: Complete Vehicle Integration Test using environments such as SIL/HIL.
Car Driver's license required.
Truck driver's license is preferred.
SIL environment is internal Python based on Functional Mockups.
HIL is Dspace and internal developed. Dspace tool chain ontop (ControlDesk) + Python framework.

What you'll do here as a Test Engineer You'll collaborate closely with other Test Engineers to test new features, products, and applications as well as ensure high software quality. You'll help ensure our software meets the required quality standards before every release. You will work in close partnership with developers and product managers. Your ability to communicate, bridge gaps between teams, and build consensus is just as important as your technical scripting skills. You'll also have a mentor during your first months to help you settle into the role, learn our AXIS OS, and get familiar with our testing processes. In this role, you will: Develop and maintain functional and non-functional test cases (manual and automated) Build and maintain test infrastructure, environments, and supporting processes Test different use cases and set up test systems involving both internal and external systems Maintain and develop existing automated test environments Develop and maintain internal test tools Plan, execute, and report test activities Analyze logs and test results Troubleshoot and report bugs Verify bug fixes In some cases, execute exploratory and scripted tests Who are we looking for? Qualifications: M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent. 3-10 years of automotive experience in CI/CD engineering, software integration, testing and automation. Experience in Boxcar and VIL (Vehicle-in-the-loop) rig testing. Proficiency in programming languages: Python, CAPL, C/C#, and scripting for test automation. Experience in CI tools Cynosure, Jenkins, Zuul, GitLab, Ansible, Bazel. Experience in tools Git/Gerrit, Victoria, Grafana, YAML, Bash, Groovy, Artifactory, Docker, AWS, Vector CANoe, vTESTstudio.
