Ideal start date: 01/11/2026 Contract duration (in months): 60 Grade range: 6 Benchmark job: 5A0020 - Communications/Public Relations /External Relations Professional Job flexibility: Fully Onsite What you'll do: Reporting directly to the Territorial Integration Pillar Coordinator of the FCC Project, you will be responsible for the project's regulatory authorisations and permitting activities. In this role, you will contribute directly to the objective of ensuring that the FCC project is ready to obtain all necessary regulatory approvals in both France and Switzerland within the required timeframe. Your responsibilities: - Contribute to the definition and implementation of the FCC project's regulatory authorisation strategy in France and Switzerland, in close collaboration with the competent authorities. - Coordinate cross-functional working groups on regulatory matters and identify issues requiring strategic decision-making. - Lead the development of the land acquisition and property strategy in collaboration with the relevant stakeholders. - Contribute to the preparation of the regulatory documentation required for the implementation of the FCC project, including permits, authorisations, exemptions and safety-related approvals, ensuring consistency in the positions presented to the authorities. - Contribute to project reviews and monitor the project master schedule for regulatory activities, identifying coordination needs and issues requiring management decisions. - Produce consolidated reporting on the progress of regulatory activities and contribute to the development of project monitoring tools, including indicators, risks and dashboards. Your profile: - Significant experience managing regulatory authorisation and permitting processes for major infrastructure projects in France and/or Switzerland, including land acquisition and property-related matters. Experience in cross-border projects or complex institutional environments would be an asset. - Proven experience managing complex projects involving multiple institutional stakeholders in structured and demanding environments. - Experience designing and implementing regulatory compliance frameworks in close collaboration with technical, legal and institutional teams. - Experience as a project owner or providing project definition and governance support for complex projects, including risk and opportunity assessment, development of implementation approaches and coordination of multiple stakeholders. - Master's degree or equivalent relevant experience in the field of Engineering, Law, Urban Planning, Spatial Planning (or Regional Planning) or a related field. ABOUT THE ROLE As Procurement & Supply Chain Specialist, you’ll own sourcing, procurement and material planning for the hardware behind our UAV and defense systems. From standard parts and COTS electronics to designed components and contract-manufactured assemblies, you’ll make sure the right parts arrive on time, on quality and fully compliant. You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues developing electronics, software, and AI together pushing to deliver vertically integrated and well-balanced solutions. Supply resilience, supplier performance, logistics and import/export execution will be your domain, and as the first dedicated owner of this function, you’ll be trusted to build the systems and supplier base we scale on. This is an on-site role with occasional travel to suppliers and partners. Position Summary Reporting to the Director of Lands Governance, the GIS Specialist provides the technical and personal skills needed to participate in the organization and provide both high quality GIS services and technical support to the Musqueam Indian Band (MIB) Administration. The GIS Specialist works primarily with the Musqueam Lands Governance Office, and with various departments within the administrative structure, to initiate and support research and develop digital cartographic resources. The GIS Specialist is responsible for the development, deployment, and training of MIB staff on Administrative web-based (internal) mapping solutions and the Musqueam community on web-based (external) mapping applications. The GIS Specialist works to document, create, and attribute data to be utilized in GIS applications and may work collaboratively with staff on all MIB mapping projects.    Roles & Responsibilities  * Participates in the research, design and production of digital and paper map products for negotiations, comprehensive community planning, traditional use mapping, infrastructure mapping, and other related activities.    * Oversees, manage, and update GIS applications development, GIS data repository, GIS IT infrastructure, and software acquisition.  * Creates cartographic products using GIS software while maintaining a high level of map consistency and attention to detail.  * Performs spatial analysis (e.g. 3d modelling, data aggregation, statistical analysis).  * Consults and responds to MIB administration wide requests for digital and paper mapping products and provide end-user support on spatial and technical matters.  * Works with departments and provide support relating to research direction, data entry, and provide infrastructure to store and access research products.  * Works in your GIS team to assist with ad-hoc map requests and geographic data editing, and capture.  * Researches, acquires, and interprets historical maps and aerial photos.  * Collects GPS data in the field and provide GPS training for staff where field work is needed.  * Liaises with external engineering contractors, municipal, provincial, and federal governments regarding MIB spatial data matters.  * Remains current on job specific knowledge by attending training courses and professional organizational meetings and reading job-related professional journals/publications.  * Prepares IT acquisition budgets and apply for funding opportunities that relates directly to the GIS unit functions. Report writing as needed.  * Maintains equipment used in creating and revising of data and maps such as a large format scanner/plotter, GPS handheld, and other GIS related equipment.    * Troubleshoot GIS IT hardware and software issues.  * Other related duties as required.     Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities  * Bachelor’s degree in Geography or Natural Resource Sciences, or a degree in another field with a Technical College Certificate in Geographic Information Systems.
