Assignment Description We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager What You Will Work On Lead the end-to-end delivery of a complex leasing platform migration Define and manage project scope, timeline, budget, risks, dependencies, and deliverables Gather, analyze, validate, and document business requirements Translate business requirements into functional and non-functional specifications Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and external development teams Facilitate workshops, requirement sessions, and solution design discussions Support architecture decisions together with technical experts Coordinate cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle Manage project governance, steering committee meetings, reporting, and decision logs Identify and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and issues Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect management, and production readiness Support data migration, system integrations, and cutover planning Ensure successful implementation with minimal business disruption Drive stakeholder communication and project transparency Collaborate with Agile teams and external vendors to ensure successful delivery What You Bring Minimum 7 years of experience managing complex IT implementation or migration projects Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field Proven experience leading platform migration or digital transformation initiatives Strong project management and delivery leadership experience Experience gathering, documenting, and managing business requirements Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Experience working with external software vendors and distributed development teams Experience managing project governance, steering committees, reporting, and risk management Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies Ability to manage multiple stakeholders with competing priorities Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar project management tools

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: * Partner with Ultra Tendency's sales, consulting, delivery, and Databricks teams throughout the customer lifecycle—from opportunity qualification to proposal, project kickoff, and successful delivery. * Lead customer engagements, workshops, and discovery sessions to understand business objectives, data strategies, and technical challenges. * Take ownership of project management activities for customer projects across Japan and APAC, ensuring successful planning, coordination, and execution. * Translate customer requirements into practical solution approaches in collaboration with our technical delivery teams. * Serve as the primary technical and business advisor during pre-sales activities, executive meetings, and solution discussions. * Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, solution proposals, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept approaches. * Support proposal development, project estimation, Statements of Work (SoW), commercial discussions, and RFP/RFI responses. * Coordinate with engineering, delivery, partners, and customer stakeholders to ensure a seamless transition from sales into implementation. * Build long-term trusted relationships with customer executives, business leaders, and technical teams. * Represent Ultra Tendency at customer meetings, partner events, conferences, and strategic engagements throughout Japan and APAC. * Provide market feedback and customer insights to help shape new service offerings and go-to-market strategies. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- WHAT YOU'LL BRING REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS * 5+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, solution consulting, project management, customer success, technology consulting, or enterprise technology delivery. * Strong understanding of enterprise data platforms, cloud technologies, analytics, and modern data architectures. * Proven ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders. * Experience facilitating customer workshops, discovery sessions, and requirements gathering. * Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. * Experience managing customer-facing technology projects. * Experience working in international and multicultural environments. * Business-level Japanese (JLPT N1 or equivalent) and professional English communication skills. * Strong ability to translate business challenges into technology solutions without requiring hands-on software development. CSQ127R318 As a Big Data Solutions Architect (Resident Solutions Architect) in our Professional Services team you will work with clients on short to medium term customer engagements on their big data challenges using the Databricks platform. You will provide data engineering, data science, and cloud technology projects which require integrating with client systems, training, and other technical tasks to help customers to get most value out of their data. RSAs are billable and know how to complete projects according to specification with excellent customer service. You will report to the regional Manager/Lead. The impact you will have: * You will work on a variety of impactful customer technical projects which may include designing and building reference architectures, creating how-to's and productionalizing customer use cases * Work with engagement managers to scope variety of  professional services work with input from the customer * Guide strategic customers as they implement transformational big data projects, 3rd party migrations, including end-to-end design, build and deployment of industry-leading big data and AI applications * Consult on architecture and design; bootstrap or implement customer projects which leads to a customers' successful understanding, evaluation and adoption of Databricks. * Provide an escalated level of support for customer operational issues. * You will work with the Databricks technical team, Project Manager, Architect and Customer team to ensure the technical components of the engagement are delivered to meet customer's needs. * Work with Engineering and Databricks Customer Support to provide product and implementation feedback and to guide rapid resolution for engagement specific product and support issues.
