Position Details: Title: Inventory Control Associate    Department: Inventory Control Reports to: Inventory Control Supervisor Location: Hanson, KY Job Classification: Onsite FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Job Band: Business Support Job Summary Inventory Control Associates are responsible for monitoring inventory accuracy and reconciling discrepancies between physical counts and company Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Other responsibilities include efficient use of WMS to evaluate product inventories, measuring and weighing products, organizing products according to protocols, reporting inconsistent or damaged goods, and converting unsellable inventory into available product. Inventory Control Team Associates will also recommend strategies to enhance inventory procedures and participate in current 5S standards. Guided by his legacy and our mission—We serve and protect all hardworking people by building durable products—we remain dedicated to upholding these principles in every decision we make and every product we create.   Associate Responsibilities * Utilize WMS effectively to conduct daily cycle counts, investigate errors/discrepancies, and cross referencing all data points for inventory integrity/order availability   * Effectively investigate and correct discrepancies found during cycle counts and adjust inventory in WMS when issues are resolved   * Demonstrate a high level of system accuracy   * Identify issues and provide solutions to road blocks, resulting in improvements to department processes and procedures  * Record and report all errors and discrepancies including internal process failures and external vendor compliance    * Function as a support liaison to all departments in processing of current orders and improvement opportunities  * Inspect, label, package, and process inventory from returns into active/sellable inventory  * Sort and ensure returns inventory is assigned and transferred to correct warehouse designations (RCV vs 3PL)  * Responsible for the timely reporting of problems in the work area to appropriate personnel as well as maintaining 5S, housekeeping, safety, and preventative guidelines  * Ensure each job performed is within set procedural inventory standards and conforms to all requirements of internal and external customers. Certified through formal observation and feedback process.    Required Education * High school diploma or GED Required Skills & Experience * Applicant must have good attention to detail and be able to work independently  * Effective time management and analytical/problem solving skills  * Effective written/verbal skills, and using simple math   * Experience with warehousing processes preferred  * SRT Certification recommended   * Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Warehouse Management Systems experience preferred  Physical Requirements and Working Conditions * Distribution Environment  * Union and Non-Union Environment   * Ability to work at heights up to 65 feet   * Ability to lift up to 65 pounds; job requires applicants to sit, stand, bend, reach, lift, and move about the facilities  * Safety requirements for the SRT equipment: 400 pound weight limit   * This position has an On-Site location: Associate will work on-site for all work-related activities.   * Carhartt is a tobacco free workplace.

About the Role: The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts, electric pallet jacks (EPJ), and other material handling equipment (MHE) to ensure accurate order fulfillment and inventory management in support of daily warehouse operations. What You’ll Do: Warehouse Operations Safely operate stand-up and/or sit-down forklifts to move, load, unload, pick, put away, and consolidate products. Conduct manual case picking and other material handling tasks as needed for order fulfillment.  This may include utilizing other forms of MHE such as, but not limited to, an EPJ. Replenish inventory in appropriate storage bays and maintain accurate product placement. Prepare products for shipment, including palletizing, wrapping, and staging in accordance with shipping requirements. Assist with physical inventories and cycle counts as directed. Quality & Compliance Perform visual inspections and quality checks on all products and outbound shipments to ensure accuracy and prevent damage. Conduct audits of outbound loads, resolving labeling discrepancies and addressing shortages. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company policies, OSHA safety requirements, and PPE protocols. Participate in required safety and compliance training, including forklift and hazardous material handling. Team Collaboration & Communication Coordinate with warehouse associates, leads, and supervisors to achieve daily productivity and service targets. Communicate product defects, inventory issues, or operational concerns promptly to management. Demonstrate positive teamwork and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. Perform other related job duties as assigned or required. Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent – or equivalent relevant experience. At least six (6) months of related warehouse or distribution experience. Basic math and reading skills. Ability to operate material handling equipment including, but not limited to a forklift and electric pallet jack. Forklift Operator  – 2nd Shift 2nd Shift: Sunday-Thursday / Start time 2:00pm - 10:30pm These positions require 6-day work weeks and shifts exceeding 10+ hours per day based on volume. Compensation to Start: $20.00 -$22.00 (Plus a $2/hour shift differential that is exclusive to the 2nd shift & Sunday-Thursday schedule.) May weigh and count items for distribution within the warehouse to ensure the company standards. * Ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe for company and customer traffic. May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed (ex: sweep, dust, and mop). Including racking, re-configuration, and product consolidation.
