About the team: Our Product Design team is a vibrant ensemble of customer advocates, product designers, and user researchers working together on a global scale. We are dedicated to enhancing connections between pet parents and pet service providers. Our team plays a crucial role in elevating the marketplace experience across web, iOS, and Android platforms, significantly impacting the end-to-end customer journey.   Who we are looking for: Rover is seeking one talented Sr. Product Designer to join our team in Barcelona. Working in partnership with our cross-functional teams, the designer will work on crucial parts of our experience. Our product teams are expanding and the designer joining will help influence the strategy and deliver engaging and intuitive experience for our whole community of users.   You will apply your keen eye for detail, solid understanding of user-centered design principles and systems thinking to craft compelling user experiences. Utilizing data and leveraging user research, you will rigorously investigate, evaluate, test, and refine theories, designs, and behavioral triggers, ensuring they meet high standards of usability and engagement.   As a senior member of the team, you will serve as a subject-matter expert and advocate for the customer during the exploration, planning, and implementation of user-centered features. You will have ownership over the design process, ensuring that experiences are rooted in trust and feature high-quality visual aesthetics. You will maintain a consistent look and feel across all devices, aligning with strategic design objectives, our design system, and specific product requirements. Through your work you will be mentored and supported by other designers on the team and a UX manager who will help you develop your design skills even further.   You should have extensive experience in product design, with a robust portfolio demonstrating proficiency in creating user-centered design solutions across various platforms. You will need to handle multiple projects simultaneously and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. A proven track record of impactful design implementations that drove improvements in user experience and business outcomes is essential.   This is a hybrid position that has the minimum expectation to work out of our Barcelona Office in the Poblenou neighborhood two days per week on Mondays and Thursdays. For this reason, candidates must be based in Barcelona or willing to relocate.

Specifically, ORD will solve every identity use case at work – for all types of people (employees, business partners, contractors, frontline workers), for all types of resources (SaaS, servers, privileged resources, machines, etc.), for the largest and most secure businesses in the world. As a designer, your focus will be on helping us build a secure, trusted, and unified platform with deep integrations. What you will do * Lead a holistic, human-centered approach to design * Guide and oversee the UX strategy alongside cross-functional partners, collaborating to take products from concept to launch and define the long term strategy for your product area.  * Design and facilitate co-creation design workshops with Product Management, Engineering and Design to define opportunities within our products to solve valuable customer problems * Craft user-centered artifacts and end-to-end journeys to align teams contributing to Workforce Identity Management around the broader user experience * Collaborate with other Okta designers to ensure consistency across interface experiences across different user scenarios * Inspire teams to think bigger and act smaller, instilling an iterative process and fail forward mentality to design simple and delightful user interfaces for new and existing Okta products. * Advocate, mentor, and educate on the benefits of design thinking to product teams and new designers alike; partnering with UX team members to uphold our principles and standards * Mentor junior designers and contribute toward team-level and design practice and process improvements. * Work with Design Leadership to define and drive the frameworks, contracts, and standards for others to be able to then build on top of and add value to, ensuring the quality of UX delivery * Find creative ways to continuously learn from customers and users; collaborating with user researchers to research and synthesize user needs to help conceive, define, test and evolve solutions for our users across a range of mediums and experiences; Advocate for users and delivering user and customer outcomes in a dynamic work environment * Help product designers create success metrics to illustrate a clear understanding how their designs impact customers * Present work, concepts, and new ideas to cross-functional team members, adjacent teams, and senior leadership; working to distill complex technical problems into clear, conceptual models and simple, elegant solutions. * Keep abreast of competitor products and industry trends; Perform competitive and comparative analysis to understand existing patterns. * Advocate and encourage thoughtful use of AI for brainstorming and iterating on potential solutions, prototyping, and collaborating with team member.  What we are looking for * You have experience leading cross-discipline teams and exemplify leadership.  * You’re curious and have experience incorporating AI into your design process, including the ability to craft tools, iterate on ideas collaboratively with AI, and document sophisticated prompts for scaled use. * Evaluate AI-generated outputs for technical accuracy, design system adherence, and ease of use to serve as a necessary quality bar before designs move to production * You are passionate about solving complex problems, crafting and sharing product and design UX principles to help teams deliver cohesive user experiences. * You are great at collaborating, You share work early and often, and seek constructive feedback from peers and stakeholders.   * You have the heart of a teacher and can help mentor and train people. You build and share empathy with people in order to deeply understand them and their needs. * You are a thought leader, undertaking explorations into new technologies and territories while also delivering practical designs * You are someone who sees design as a partner in shaping strategic and operational product and UX outcome; comfortable owning all stages of design for multiple teams within a given product area. * You bring a systems-thinking lens to the conversation * You are passionate about supporting teams with a wide variety of experience, backgrounds, and interests. * Your portfolio will show that you've worked on complex and/or technical projects across all aspects of the design process (conceptual design, interaction design, information architecture, and visual design) Qualifications: * 8+ years of relevant work experience as a Product Designer or UX Designer, with a portfolio showcasing shipped B2B or enterprise products. * Degree in a related field or relevant work experience as a Product Designer or UX Designer. * Proficient in Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and / or similar design tools. * Possesses at least a basic understanding of HTML / CSS / JavaScript. * Can provide a digital portfolio that showcases solid skills across a variety of projects, including work that has been seen and used successfully in actual products.
