THE ROLE As a Business Development Representative, you’ll play a key role in accelerating Airtable’s growth by generating qualified pipeline opportunities and expanding our footprint beyond the 100,000+ organisations already using and loving our platform. You will work closely with our Strategic Account Executives in the UK and our cross functional partners in the EMEA HQ in London. This is more than a traditional outbound role. You’ll help prospective customers rethink how work gets done, partner closely with Account Executives and Marketing, and experiment with new strategies to unlock opportunities across the customer journey. You’ll become a trusted voice for Airtable’s vision while developing the commercial and strategic skills needed for a long-term career Agentic AI software selling. Please note, this is a hybrid role based in London, with an expectation of 3 days per week in the office. WHAT YOU'LL DO * Generate qualified pipeline through a combination of inbound follow-up, outbound prospecting, and strategic outreach across northern europe. * Partner closely with Account Executives on territory planning, account prioritisation, and personalised outreach strategies. * Research target accounts and personas to identify high-impact opportunities and create thoughtful, tailored messaging. * Engage prospective customers through calls, emails, events, webinars, and multi-channel campaigns. * Clearly articulate Airtable’s value proposition and how our platform helps organisations solve complex operational challenges. * Run discovery and qualification conversations to identify customer pain points and assess fit. * Collaborate with Marketing to provide feedback on campaigns, messaging, and lead quality. * Experiment with and optimise outbound strategies, testing new approaches to drive pipeline growth. * Build deep product knowledge and develop world-class sales skills in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. WHO YOU ARE * Fluent English speaker. * You have at least 1 year of sales or related experience. * Leveraging AI in work and personal life with a keen interest to develop as a AI Fluent seller. * You thrive in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment and have a track record of delivering results. * You’re highly organised and able to balance multiple priorities effectively. * You’re proactive, curious, and motivated to continuously learn and improve. * You’re a strong communicator and storyteller who can engage a wide range of audiences. * You actively seek feedback and use it to grow. * You have experience creating outbound messaging, measuring performance, and iterating based on results. * Most importantly, you’re excited by the opportunity to help shape the growth of a category-defining company in EMEA. WHAT YOU’LL DO AT ADTHENA As a Business Development Representative, you will contribute to the continued growth at Adthena by generating and qualifying a high-quality pipeline for our Account Executive team. Sitting at the top of our sales funnel, you will have the opportunity to create a great first impression for prospective clients and effectively articulate the value proposition of Adthena. You will identify, nurture and qualify new leads to generate well-researched, qualified meetings for our Account Executive team. RESPONSIBILITIES * Maintain consistent outbound activity across calls, emails, and LinkedIn to generate new meetings. * Book meetings with qualified personas who are from your assigned vertical market. * Work closely with the AE team to align on target accounts and maximise meeting quality. * Engage in early discovery conversations to identify pain points and qualify interest. * Take a consultative approach and propose solutions based on the Adthena Value Proposition, leveraging Adthena case studies and use cases. * Meet, if not exceed, monthly targets and document activity within Salesforce. * Use tools like Outreach, Orum, and Sales Navigator to plan and scale outreach effectively. * Navigate conversations with technical and economic buyers at a strategic level (C-Suite, VP or Director). * Conduct thorough research on strategic accounts to identify key business priorities and potential opportunities for engagement. * Work closely with the AE team to build a qualified pipeline. * Track and report on your KPIs such as outreach volume, meetings booked, and conversion rates. * Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and Google’s recent updates/ developments. * Eager to advance within the sales organisation by creating a positive impact both within the role and also in the broader organisation WHO WE LOOK FOR Research shows men apply if they meet ~60% of the criteria, while women and underrepresented groups apply only if they meet all requirements. Required Experience: * 3-18 months of sales or professional experience, preferably within a B2B SaaS or Technology environment. * Proven experience or aptitude for outbound prospecting, including proficiency with cold calling, personalised email outreach, and other lead generation techniques. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for engaging prospects effectively. * A positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn quickly, adapt to feedback, and master new sales methodologies. Bonus Points If You Have: * Prior industry experience working or calling into these verticals: Automotive, Retail, B2B or B2C Technology, Education, Insurance, Financial Services, Legal, etc * Experience in strategic, thorough account planning to execute engagement with different company types, roles, etc. * Ability to navigate conversations with technical and economic buyers at a strategic level (C-Suite, VP or Director) * Experience using sales technologies such as Salesforce, Navigator, and Outreach or equivalents to power your outreach campaigns.
