Our role at SIE is to create and nurture the experiences under the PlayStation brand, a name synonymous with entertainment excellence and creativity. Director, Global Mobility (People & Places) San Mateo, CA | Hybrid (2 days onsite per week) About the Role Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) is seeking a Director, Global Mobility to lead the strategy, design, and execution of global mobility programs supporting our international workforce. This role is critical to enabling SIE's global talent strategy - ensuring employees can move across borders efficiently, compliantly, and with a best-in-class employee experience while managing the complex tax, immigration, payroll, and legal considerations that come with a global entertainment and technology business. This is a highly strategic leadership role responsible for modernizing and scaling SIE's global mobility function. The Director will define and evolve global mobility strategy, strengthen governance and operating models, and build scalable programs that enable business growth and support a globally distributed workforce. What You'll be Doing * Own and evolve SIE's global mobility strategy and programs, including long- and short-term assignments, permanent transfers, business traveler compliance, and cross-border remote work arrangements. * Design, implement, and continuously improve global mobility policies, governance, operating models, and scalable processes that deliver a consistent, compliant employee experience across all regions. * Build, formalize, and optimize global mobility workflows, case management practices, and service delivery models, modernizing the function where opportunities exist. * Partner with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Legal, Tax, Finance, Payroll, and business leaders to support organizational growth, strategic hiring, studio acquisitions, and cross-regional talent mobility. * Manage relationships with external vendors, including relocation providers, immigration counsel, tax advisors, and destination service providers, while overseeing RFPs, contract negotiations, and service performance. * Ensure compliance with global immigration requirements, tax equalization/protection policies, social security totalization agreements, payroll obligations, and other cross-border employment regulations. * Build and lead a high-performing global mobility team while fostering scalable processes, operational excellence, and continuous improvement as the function evolves. * Oversee mobility budgeting, forecasting, cost projections, reporting, and program analytics to drive informed business decisions and maximize program effectiveness. * Serve as the executive advisor on global workforce mobility strategy, balancing talent objectives, employee experience, compliance, cost, and business risk while recommending practical solutions to complex mobility challenges. * Lead the evolution of mobility technology by driving process automation, workflow optimization, reporting, analytics, vendor technology adoption, and case management improvements. * Represent global mobility priorities within the Total Rewards Leadership Team, ensuring alignment with broader compensation, benefits, and workforce strategies. What We're Looking for * 10+ years of progressive experience in global mobility, international HR, or a related field, including people leadership. * Demonstrated experience designing or transforming enterprise global mobility programs, including governance, policy frameworks, operating models, and scalable processes; not simply administering established programs. * Deep knowledge of international tax equalization, immigration processes, payroll considerations, and compliance frameworks across major markets, including the U.S., Europe, and APAC. * Experience managing global mobility programs for a multinational organization, ideally within technology, media, gaming, or entertainment. * Proven ability to lead organizational change, influence stakeholders, and drive adoption of new programs, processes, and technology. * Demonstrated success influencing senior leaders and driving decisions within a highly matrixed global organization. * Strong vendor management, negotiation, and relationship management skills. * Experience partnering with Legal, Tax, Payroll, and Finance on complex cross-border compliance matters. * Proven track record of building, scaling, or transforming global mobility programs and teams. * Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and executive advisory skills. * Bachelor's degree required; Global Mobility Specialist (GMS), GPHR, or other relevant certifications are a plus. * Experience supporting Japan-specific mobility programs (e.g., shukko assignments, Japanese tax and social security coordination) is highly desirable given SIE's relationship with Sony Group. * Ability to travel domestically and internationally approximately once per quarter to support global mobility operations and regional stakeholder engagement. #LI-SF1 At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location. Mission before ego. Everyone contributes. No one coasts. If you’re driven by impact, pace, and raising the bar. This is the place. The role We’re looking for an exceptional Executive Assistant to partner with our senior leadership. This is not a traditional support role. You’ll manage calendars, travel and logistics, but you’ll also go beyond that: shaping how the company shares information, stays aligned, and operates day-to-day. You will help build and scale Legora as a company and set the operating model. Working closely with the Chief of Staff in the EMEA team, you’ll play a key role in enhancing operational efficiency and supporting the strategic direction of the region. From planning key internal moments to improving workflows, you’ll bring structure to complexity and free up time where it matters most. This is a foundational role with broad exposure across the organisation, board and beyond. If you’re proactive, love details, and thrive in high-velocity environments - we’d love to meet you. What you will be doing: * Own calendar, travel logistics and email for our VP of Revenue and VP of Strategic Accounts - not just managing their time, but designing it to reflect shifting priorities and strategic focus. * Coordinate internal and external meetings across multiple time zones - making sure every touchpoint is prepared, purposeful and followed up. * Lead planning and execution of key team moments - including recurring meetings, offsites, workshops and informal gatherings. * Triage inbound requests, protect focus time and help communication flow smoothly across the team. * Partnering closely with leadership to flag blockers, support decision-making and help the company stay one step ahead. * Provide operational support to keep projects, initiatives and team collaboration on track. * Help strengthen collaboration and coordination between the Strategic Accounts and broader EMEA teams, ensuring alignment on priorities and execution. * Act as a central point of coordination across the company, collaborating closely with teams including Operations, Product, Sales and Legal. * Take initiative to improve the way the team operates - spotting friction points and building better systems. What you bring * 5+ years experience in roles like Executive Assistant, Team Coordinator or Business Operations - ideally in a high-growth or international environment. * A proactive, problem-solving mindset - you act before issues arise and take full ownership. * Deep attention to detail and a love of structure - you make things faster, smoother, clearer. * Strong communication skills - fluent in English, confident in handling sensitive or high-stakes communication. * High discretion and maturity - you know how to navigate different stakeholders and build trust. * Comfort with tools like Google Workspace, Slack and Notion - and a quick learner when new systems come in. * A genuine desire to support others and make the team better - you take pride in the work behind the scenes. What makes this role special You won’t simply be executing tasks on behalf of others; you’ll play an active role in designing better ways of working across the company. The position comes with high exposure, giving you the chance to work closely with our senior leadership team and build relationships across the company. As Legora continues to scale, this role offers the opportunity to play a meaningful part in that journey while creating pathways for your own growth and development. And as Legora grows, so will this role, providing you with opportunities to shape your own career path - whether that leads toward business operations, people-focused tracks, or team leadership. Legora is an Equal Opportunity Employer At Legora, we believe great teams are built on diversity of thought and experience. We’re proud to be an equal opportunity employer and committed to creating an inclusive, high-performance culture where everyone can do their best work. We welcome people of all backgrounds and don’t discriminate based on race, color, religion, national origin, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
