Want to shape the future of waterborne transport and join a world-class team? Candela is the global leader in electric hydrofoil vessels. Since 2014, we’ve gone from building our first premium electric speedboat in a small Stockholm workshop to delivering game-changing vessels around the globe. The Candela P-12 is our latest innovation - the world’s first electric hydrofoil ferry is not just operating in Stockholm, but now attracting orders from around the world. Our boats “fly” thanks to computer-guided underwater wings under the hull made out of lightweight carbon fiber. The wings lift the vessel above the water, which results in cutting energy use by up to 80%, while offering zero emissions and a far better passenger experience than traditional diesel vessels. And that’s exactly why we do this. Our mission is clear: to speed up the transition to fossil fuel–free lakes and oceans. You can be part of the amazing team in Candela now! We are looking for a Senior Production Planning Manager to support Candela’s future growth ambitions. Purpose and Goals In this role, you will take ownership of developing and scaling Candelas global production planning as we prepare for multi-site manufacturing. You will build the structure and processes needed to support our continued growth, ensuring alignment across Sourcing, Production, and Logistics so that production runs smoothly and on schedule. You will also strengthen planning tools and workflows, using advanced Excel models while supporting the transition of planning processes into Odoo. You will work closely with a production administrator in Rotebro and a global controller, reflecting the close link between production planning and financial performance. The role will be an important part of the Operations management team as Candela expands its global production footprint. Your core responsibilities will include: Create, update, and monitor the daily/weekly/bi-weekly and long-term production plan based on manning capacity, material availability, R&D and ME releases. Create KPI and planning reports to the COO and participate as support at performance reviews with the CEO. Analyze stock levels, anticipate shortages, and alert Procurement before issues escalate. Ensure production orders, in Odoo, are created, sequenced, and closed correctly. Track production KPIs and flag risks early. Work closely with the Production team to challenge and adjust priorities when things shift. Prepare planning reports in Excel and support the migration of these workflows into Odoo. Follow up on critical ongoing production activities and keep teams aligned with deadlines. Support continuous improvement initiatives across planning processes. What are we looking for? You are highly organized with a natural drive to keep processes structured and efficient. You thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly and are comfortable adapting when needed. With strong analytical skills and clear communication, you work effectively with operational teams at all levels across the organization. Requirements: 5+ years of experience in production planning, supply chain, or a similar operational role. Strong Excel skills (INDEX/MATCH, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, data cleaning, etc.). A relevant University degree within Engineering and/or Business. It would be preferred if you have: Experience with Odoo. Background in manufacturing or physical production environments. Understanding of Lean / continuous improvement principles. Form of employment: Full-time with initial 6 month probation period Start date: ASAP Location/base: Rotebro/Frihamnen Reporting to: COO Why people love working at Candela? At Candela, we’re not just building electric vessels - we’re creating a whole new category of clean, efficient waterborne transport.
