Come and join us in Lystrup! We are facing an exciting future with considerable growth and demanding changes, as we deliver advanced technologies and mission-critical solutions for the defense and aerospace industry. Our systems provide security for people on land, at sea, and in the air. Therefore, we are looking for an Advanced Systems Engineer to become a cornerstone of this journey and contribute to our overall purpose - securing people through advanced technology. Your role in our team As our new Advanced Systems Engineer on a specialist level, you will play a key role in driving, structuring, and technically anchoring proposal activities within Air & Land Projects in R&D. You will enter a highly specialized technical environment with a steep learning curve. Initially, you will work closely with and learn from our Senior Systems Engineer on proposals and our Solution Architect within this technology area, actively supporting them in their ongoing high-value bid processes. Through this close collaboration and mentorship, you will quickly build deep domain knowledge across Terma's Electronic Warfare portfolios. As you mature in the role, you will gradually take full, independent responsibility for driving your own technical proposals from inception to final delivery. How you will make a meaningful contribution Your key responsibilities include: -Technical Bid Execution & Support: Collaborate with Senior Systems Engineers and Solution Architects to build robust technical baselines for international proposals, transforming operational customer needs into mature engineering concepts. -End-to-End Proposal Drive: Progress from supporting complex bids to independently driving and technically anchoring your own multi-disciplinary proposals across R&D. -Advanced Hardware & EW Integration: Work across complex boundaries integrating structural components, smart pylons, and pods with safety-critical hardware, Electronic Warfare software, and mechanical interfaces. -Sensor & Effector Systems: Apply your technical knowledge to integrate cutting-edge sensor technologies (e.g., Radar Warning Receivers, Missile Warning Systems, and Laser Warning Systems) and advanced effector integration (countermeasure dispenser systems / chaff & flare). -Risk & Estimation Management: Evaluate technical risks, compliance matrices, and engineering estimates to ensure robust, deliverable, and competitive proposals. Bring your world class expertise into play You are fluent in English both in writing and verbal at a professional level. Danish is an advantage but not a requirement. As a person, you are technically ambitious, analytical, and possess a strong collaborative mindset. You navigate naturally between deep technical detail and the big-picture system level. You take clear ownership of your tasks, thrive in a high-stakes engineering environment, and possess the communication skills required to align diverse stakeholders and technical experts across an international organization. We are an international company representing world-class expertise, delivering complex and high-tech products.
