The Software R&D Team Lead is responsible for leading and developing a team of software engineers working on specialized software development, including AI-integrated neurotech, industrial, and mobile applications systems.

What you'll do You will drive the evolution of CERN's Service Management platform, currently based on ServiceNow, in line with business needs and developments from the platform provider. Regularly interact with business process experts to capture business needs. Prepare and maintain a functional platform development plan in collaboration with our providers, business and the lead developer, participate to prototype building. Assist and replace when needed the platform lead developer in coordinating development effort. Participate to the control and support of development activities, ensuring maximum optimisation, health and compliance with the PaaS platform, security and service management industry best practices. Your profile Extensive experience in the configuration and development of a comprehensive Service Management platform, preferably ServiceNow. Demonstrated experience in architecting in PaaS platforms. Knowledge of programming techniques and languages: extensive knowledge of scripting languages, web services, software development processes and techniques together with life-cycle management concepts. Experience with database and security architectures. Knowledge of Service Management methodologies, such as the ITIL framework would be an asset. Assignment Overview: Software Tester role within VCT EE I/T focused on Complete Vehicle Integration Test SIL/HIL testing. The position involves performing complete vehicle integration testing and verifying electrical systems from an integration perspective. The role covers the entire testing lifecycle and contributes to the continuous improvement of test methods and environments to ensure Scania's embedded electrical systems meet high quality and safety standards. Responsibilities: Perform complete vehicle tests and verify complete electrical systems from a SW integration perspective (~20-30SW deliveries/4week). Execute integration tests for both new and existing functionality. Participate in the full test cycle, including: Test planning Test leadership Test execution Fault analysis Contribute to the continuous improvement of test methods and test environments for current and future functionality. Verify functionality and quality through SIL/HIL testing activities. Support efforts to ensure Scania's embedded electrical systems are safe and of high quality for customers. Education (Must Have/Nice To Have): Must Have: Engineering background within Mechanical Engineering, Embedded Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience (Must Have/Nice To Have): Must Have: Verification and/or Validation experience. Python experience. Experience performing testing activities and fault analysis. ISTQB certification.
