Vår verksamhet Endokrina onkologen är en avdelning inom verksamhetsområdet blod- och tumörsjukdomar som finns i 100-huset. Avdelningen har idag 17 vårdplatser på vardagar samt 12 platser under helgen. Hos oss kommer du att få ett varierande arbete där du får kombinera omvårdnad med viss akutsjukvård som kan uppstå i samband med behandlingar. Avdelningen har ett tätt samarbete med övriga avdelningar/mottagningar inom vårt verksamhetsområde. Endokrina onkologen är en avdelning inom verksamhetsområdet blod- och tumörsjukdomar som finns i 100-huset. Några av de vanligaste onkologiska endokrinologiska diagnoserna är neuroendokrina tumörer (NET), neuroendokrin cancer (NEC) och thyreoideacancer. Dessa behandlas med en målinriktad strålbehandling och/eller cytostatika/immunterapi. Den vanligaste onkologiska diagnosen hos oss är lymfom där vår specialitet är CAR-T-behandling som är en behandling där patientens egna T-celler genmodifieras att angripa cancern. Vi strävar efter ständig utveckling och är en del av den högspecialiserade cancervården. Hos oss får du arbeta medicintekniskt med bland annat centrala och perifera infarter, cytostatika och immunterapier. Här får du arbeta i en miljö med hög sjukskötersketäthet, erfarna läkare och undersköterskor. Vi jobbar tillsammans som ett team. Ditt uppdrag Du kommer att arbeta tillsammans i vårdlag med en undersköterska där ni ansvarar för vården kring patienterna. Det är ett spännande arbete där du får möta människor i många olika skeden av sin sjukdom. Vi arbetar främst med utredning och behandling. Vid utredning av en patient består arbetet till stor del av anamnes, klinisk bedömning, provtagning samt förberedelser inför undersökningar. Handhavande av centrala infarter samt mycket insättning av perifera infarter har vi här. Vi har många patienter som kommer från andra delar av Sverige men också Europa. Våra behandlingspatienter kommer regelbundet för infusionsbehandlingar så som cytostatika/immunterapi och som sjuksköterska har man då fokus på övervakning och medicinteknik. Specifikt för 100A är även att vi ger olika former av målinriktad strålbehandling samt en avancerad onkologisk behandling med CAR-T. Du blir också en del av ett skickligt team som stöttar och hjälper varandra samtidigt som du kommer arbeta självständigt. Dina kvalifikationer Du är legitimerad sjuksköterska. Department of Clinical Sciences We are seeking a board-certified International specialist (European or American College of Veterinary Surgery (ECVS or ACVS Diplomate) in small animal surgery; alternatively, you hold a recognised national specialist title in small animal surgery. About the position As a specialist in surgery at UDS, you will primarily work in the surgery department, postoperative care unit, and ICU. You will provide clinical services in a broad range of surgery cases; orthopaedics, soft tissue, and neurosurgery cases. You are part of our surgical team, which works with excellent veterinary care, teaching, and research. It is a varied and stimulating everyday life in a round-the-clock operation at Sweden's only university animal hospital. You will support and develop the surgery team, provide guidance and support to veterinary nurses, ensure that the flow through the surgery department is efficient and safe for the patients, supervise and teach students as well as residents and junior veterinarians. You aim to get involved in strategic development and management of the clinic. Participation in the out-of-hours service is also expected. Collaboration with colleagues within your discipline and across the faculty is a part of the role. Opportunities to engage in ongoing clinical research are available, and you may contribute to lecturing, small group teaching, and assessing veterinary students. A crucial aspect of your work will involve advising and collaborating with veterinarians in other disciplines, such as intensive care and in-patient care.
