As our R&D Project Manager you will become one of the key persons in organizing the delivery of power quality solutions to the rest of our organization. In this role you will work directly with cross-functional team members to ensure that our solutions are delivered and executed in alignment with the overall delivery project priorities.
How you’ll make an impact
Lead product development efforts utilizing a multitude of processes and tools. Accountable for timely delivery, technical excellence, and process effectiveness of product development activities. Owning, planning, and maintaining the projects.
Proactively coordinate with cross discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
Submit project deliverables and ensure that they adhere to quality standards.
Prepare status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information.
Establish effective project communication plans and ensure their execution as well as facilitate change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.
Coordinate the development of documents needed to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process or system to the design and manufacturing.
Conduct post project evaluation and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Analyze project data and produce insights to optimize performance.
Your background
You hold a university degree in a relevant area, such as project management, electrical, mechanical, industrial engineering or similar.
Experience with project management tools and models such as Gate.
Line or project management skills are desired and experience with HVDC and FACTS applications is an advantage.
Knowledge of product development is crucial.
You communicate well, have a structured way of working and have a strong will to drive and implement improvements and change transformations.
Most important for this role is your personality and your willingness to learn and explore new areas. Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills are crucial to succeeding in the role.
Fluency in English, written and spoken alike, is a requirement.

The opportunity Join the Global Hardware Development (R&D) team at Hitachi Energy and take a leading role in hardware development for Bay Level solutions. In this role, you will work close to both technology and execution, contributing to the development, integration, and industrialization of electronic hardware products used in critical energy infrastructure.
