We're looking for a Data Science Engineer who takes ownership of turning vast, complex data into actionable intelligence from day
one. Someone who uses AI as a default part of how they work - and knows when to trust their own judgment.

YOUR MISSION Drive data driven decision making at Bitpanda by helping product, engineering, operations, finance and so many more teams collect, analyse and understand key metrics that drive growth that impacts millions of end users globally. WHAT YOU’LL DO * Contribute to the ongoing design of our core data model to support advanced analytics and business intelligence. * Unify business intelligence, data engineering and business stakeholders to build out data sets and models relevant to their core businesses. * Engage and collaborate with Finance and Operations to identify reporting needs and potential improvements. * Ensure high data quality of the core data layer with dbt models with Python and SQL. * Enable analysts across the whole organisation and streamline dashboard creation. WHO YOU ARE * Advanced experience with SQL, dbt and Python, hands-on experience with Airflow and BI Tools (Metabase, Tableau or similar) is considered a plus. * Strong communication skills and the ability to work, learn and grow across teams and functions. * Solid experience with data-modelling (dimensional modelling, OBT or star/snowflake schemas), data quality frameworks and data visualisation tools. * Around three years of professional analytics engineering and/or business intelligence experience with a passion for FinTech. * Bachelor/Master degree in computer science, business informatics, applied mathematics and statistics or similar. We're looking for a Software Engineering Team Lead (f/m/d) who takes ownership of a software engineering team, driving innovation for the solutions within our Data Intelligence Department from day one. WHAT YOU'LL OWN We are looking for a Software Engineering Team Lead (f/m/d) who will lead a software engineering team, driving innovation for the solutions within our Data Intelligence Department. Your main tasks will be: * Plan & Design – Define and scope new features, identify project requirements, and create clear roadmaps and timelines. * Innovate & Improve – Take initiative to enhance our frameworks, optimize processes, and develop new features. * Inspire & Support – Guide and mentor a team of developers, delegate tasks effectively, and ensure project milestones are met. * Onboard & Train – Help new team members get up to speed with our tools, frameworks, and best practices. * Communicate & Collaborate – Foster open communication within the team, addressing challenges, setbacks, and achievements transparently.
