INTRO Join Airhub Aviation as an Aircraft Mechanic and play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of aircraft safety and reliability. In this role, you will carry out routine and non-routine aircraft maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and ensure all work is completed and documented in line with regulatory and company standards. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE: * Perform routine and non-routine aircraft maintenance, repairs, and inspections. * Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and structural issues. * Complete work accurately and efficiently in accordance with regulations and company standards. * Document all maintenance performed using approved procedures. * Collaborate with shift leaders, engineers, and fellow technicians. * Ensure all required certificates, licenses, and personal documentation are valid, current, and compliant with regulatory and company requirements. WE EXPECT YOU TO HAVE: * 1+ years of aircraft maintenance experience; * Valid HF, EWIS, FTS certificates approved by Part-147 organisation; * Flexibility to travel all around the world; * Strong understanding of standard maintenance procedures; * Ability to read, understand and implement aircraft maintenance manuals (AMM, SRM, TSM etc.); * Extensive experience with power and hand tools, and knowledge of aircraft systems, mechanics, and parts; * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; * Ability to make consistent and precise repairs under pressure; * Ability to work nights, weekends, or on-call if needed; * Experience on B737 and A320 aircraft would be an advantage. Your role The role Technical Support Engineer for Special Mission and Regional Aircraft (SMRA) is a divided role where one part will be Technical Support Engineer to support Saab 340 and Saab 2000 operators in technical queries. You will work in a team with other technical support engineers, be the focal point to support the operators in trouble shooting, repairs, modifications etc. The other part of the role is to drive tasks in various technical topics and on different platforms e.g. Saab 340, Saab 2000, derivatives thereof and GlobalEye The work is; Independently and a team effort Alternating Requires good cooperation and service minded mind-set Since the work entitles frequent contacts externally and internally is it essential that you are an outspoken person with a good ability to communicate verbally and in writing both in Swedish and in English. Your profile For this role we are looking for a broad technical support engineer with the ability to plan, strategize and manage tasks. We also want a person who has good skills regarding collaboration, planning ability and being a "doer". To sum up; Someone who has studied to become an aeronautical engineer or aeronautical mechanic. It is meritorious if you have good product knowledge in Saab 340 and/or Saab 2000 and preferably an Licensed Technician (EASA B1-B2), but this is not a requirement. A person with good general computer skills. Someone with good English skills, both verbally and written. Someone who is ready to travel and have a drivers license. IHRE AUFGABEN * Planning, managing, and monitoring all measures to maintain airworthiness in accordance with EASA Part CAMO/Part M for the LUMINAIR fleet (Falcon 900EX & 7X, Cessna 560XLS & 680A). * Collaborate and provide support in the creation, maintenance, and optimization of the Aircraft Maintenance Program (AMP) based on manufacturer documentation (MPD, MSM, CMMs). * Monitoring and implementing Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), and technical notices * Analyzing and resolving technical issues and malfunctions * Maintaining close and proactive communication with LUMINAIR pilots, including: * Recording and evaluating Pilot Reports (PIREPs) * Assisting with MEL decisions and dispatch evaluations * Clarifying technical questions before and after the flight * Coordinating with international Part 145 maintenance organizations, including: * Planning and monitoring line and base maintenance * Coordinating scope of work, unscheduled inspections, and technical deviations * Ensuring that all work is performed on time and in compliance with regulations * Preparation and issuance of work packages and orders to maintenance companies. * Maintenance and filing of documents in the aircraft’s maintenance history file. * Maintenance and use of CAMO software (including CAMP, FL3XX). * Communicating with the customer support teams of manufacturers, engine manufacturers, and aviation authorities. * Participating in internal and external audits to ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to LUMINAIR’s high quality standards. IHR PROFIL Qualifications / Technical * Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or a comparable technical qualification. * Alternatively: EASA Part 66 B1/B2 license with experience on business jets, ideally with the aircraft models operated by LUMINAIR. * In-depth knowledge of EASA regulations (Part M, Part CAMO, Part 145). * Experience in a CAMO environment, preferably in business aviation. * Knowledge of manufacturer systems and portals (CAMP, Field 6, Falcon Portal, 1View, etc.). * Proficiency in working with technical documentation and maintenance management systems. Experience & Skills * Analytical thinking and a structured, precise approach to work. * High sense of responsibility and strong safety awareness. * Strong communication skills when interacting with pilots, technicians, owners, and external partners. * Ability to explain complex technical issues in an understandable way. * Independence, resilience, and a solution-oriented approach. * Willingness to work shifts (early, late, and, if necessary, weekends or holidays) to ensure continuous technical support for the aircraft fleet. * Flexibility regarding work hours, as well as the ability to work reliably and independently, even in rotating shift schedules. * A professional demeanor that aligns with LUMINAIR’s premium standards.
