(724) 379 5212   Come Join the Winning Team!   Bergen Pipe Supports is currently hiring for a full-time Welder to work at our Donora, PA location.  Welders are responsible for receiving the prepared and fitted materials and welding them.    We specialize in the manufacture and distribution of a complete line of pipe hangers and supports for commercial and industrial applications since 1913. With five locations in the U.S and growing., our supports have been specified and installed on major water treatment, pharmaceutical, process piping, petro-chemical, hospitals, and school buildings as well as many other industrial projects throughout the world.   Essential Duties: * Grinding and preheating the steel with a torch * Moving materials through the operation of cranes and/or forklifts * Welding of components in accordance with weld procedures * Perform visual welding inspections * Undertake weld qualification tests as required * Assist the department foreman in meeting production targets * Maintain quality standards * Keep work area clean and orderly * Notify managers concerning any non-conformities and the need for repairs to the facility or equipment * Maintain a healthy and safe working environment   Ideal Candidate: * Have experience in Flux Core welding process * Candidates must be able to measure quickly and accurately in order to keep scrap at a minimum * Be able to read engineering drawings * Be able to stand and work in a warm environment for an 8-hour shift * Be able to work independently and efficiently * Be able to lift and carry heavy objects (over 50 pounds)   Benefit Highlights: * Weekly pay * Competitive hourly pay based on previous experience * 8 Paid Holidays * Paid Time Off * Low affordable rates for Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance as well other benefits such as 401k with company matching, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability and Life Insurance * Growth Opportunities   Shift Available:  * 7:00am – 3:30pm

As a Welder, you are responsible for welding together metal components to form a final product that is dedicated to the rugged and challenging terrain of the forestry industry. To excel in this role, you will have experience in both fitting and welding metal components to produce high-quality fabricated products. Precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment are essential.   Location: 141 Consolidated Drive, Paris, ON Dedicated Day Shift: 6:00am – 2:30pm, Monday - Friday   Job Duties * Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine welding requirements for prototypes and custom products * Measure and fabricate metal components accurately using various tools and equipment, with minimal or no jigs and fixtures * Ensure proper material are selected for each job to weld together metal components * Following safety protocols and wear prescribed personal protective equipment to prevent injuries * Operate lifting devices such as cranes (overhead, and/or jib) to complete large welding jobs * Ensure welding machines are properly calibrated * Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications * Repair and rework welds as needed * Communicate with supervisors to ensure production schedules are met   Skills & Experience * Experience in both fitting and welding metal components * Ability to adapt to a changing work environment, handle competing demands, and deal with frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events. * Required to read and interpret welding blueprints, drawing specifications, procedures, and work instructions * Assembly welding tasks require collaboration with coworkers; effective communication and problem solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions when working on projects that involve multiple team members * Physical requirements include standing, climbing, kneeling, and bending while welding for extended periods of time * Extreme temperature exposure to weather changes (heat)   Qualifications * Knowledge of fabrication processes including fitting with the assistance of a fixture and welding * Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings   What We Can Offer You  * Family-Oriented Company: Lots of social events, BBQ’s, pizza parties and more!  * Competitive Wages and Profit Sharing: In addition to competitive wages, we celebrate our financial success together through profit sharing.  * RRSP Matching Program: Retirement planning?
