About the position Join Mycronic’s Pattern Generators Division as a Quality Engineer in the Metrology and Process Control group (PMCD). In this role, you will work with process quality, Statistical Process Control, and process optimization for advanced mask manufacturing used in the display and semiconductor industries. You will work close to the cleanroom, process equipment, metrology results, and R&D projects. The work combines data analysis, hands-on cleanroom processing, process tuning, and improvement of process control methods. You will support both daily process stability and new product development, with a focus on making our processes more stable, capable, and repeatable. About the research project The continuous miniaturization of silicon-based electronics has driven the technological progress for decades. However, as devices now approach atomic scales, the fundamental laws of physics increasingly hinder further advances. To sustain the pace of innovation, both academia and industry have started exploring alternative materials, devices, and circuit architectures, particularly in the rapidly expanding field of artificial intelligence (AI) accelerator hardware. Atomically thin two-dimensional transition metal dichalcogenide (TMD) semiconductors have emerged as highly promising candidates to either significantly complement or even replace silicon in future electronics. In this project, your doctoral research will focus on developing novel memory transistors based on TMDs that enable functionality beyond the limits of silicon. Lyten is seeking an experienced Facility & Utility technician with specific competence in pressurized vessels. In this role you will be responsible for the safe operation, monitoring, inspection, maintenance, and regulatory compliance of pressurized equipment and systems in accordance with AFS 2023:11 and site procedures. Supports the facility's pressure equipment program, risk assessments, and continuous supervision activities. Additionally you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, maintenance and development of all facilities and supporting infrastructure within the company’s production and office environments. The role ensures that utilities (such as water, heating/cooling, compressed air, gases, and electrical distribution) and facility systems (buildings, workshops, access, and general services) are maintained at high standards to support production continuity and workplace safety and sustainability goals. Key Responsibilities Overall areas of responsibilities and activities Operate, inspect and maintain facility, utility and pressurized systems in accordance with AFS 2023:11. Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities. Support inspections, FLT activities and compliance requirements for pressure equipment. Maintain records related to inspections, maintenance, repairs, modifications and statutory compliance. Coordinate and support inspections performed by accredited inspection bodies. Identify equipment integrity concerns and escalate corrective actions to ensure safe operation and regulatory compliance Maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical distribution, compressed air and supporting infrastructure. Coordinate contractors, service providers for on-site activities. Support installation of new equipment and facility improvement projects.
