Product Development Team Lead

The Gothenburg R&D team consists of six designers. The Product Development Team lead reports to Group CTO and works closely with

the Chief Designer.

• Lead the product development processes from conception through to launch, ensuring innovative solutions meet market demands.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, production engineering Product Management and Brand Management to

deliver on project objectives and timelines.

• Act as a Project Owner with responsibility over resources, project budget and schedule
• Drive strategic initiatives to optimize product development process
• Mentor, guide and lead team members, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence within the R&D team in Gothenburg.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in product development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role in a related industry.
• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Mechanical or Naval Engineering or equal skills
• Strong knowledge of product development and project management methodologies.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English; Swedish proficiency is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to innovate and inspire a team within a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with Lean product development and Agile methodologies.
• Ability to conduct and utilise data analytics to inform product strategy.
• Proven track record of launching successful products on schedule and within budget.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
• Personal interest and experience in boating or sailing
