As this is a new role at Smartsign, you will not just join a product marketing function — you will help build it.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As Product Marketing Specialist, your job is to make Smartsign easier to understand, easier to sell and easier for customers to
use.
This role sits at the intersection of Product, Sales and Customer Experience. One day you might help launch a new feature, the
next create a customer guide, develop sales material or improve onboarding content.
You will help answer questions such as:
What customer problem does this solve?
How should Sales explain it?
Which customers benefit most?
What material do we need before launch?
Sometimes you will also help customers with content ideas, templates or examples — especially when it helps them use Smartsign
better or supports an important sales or customer opportunity.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Translate product capabilities into clear customer messaging.
Create sales enablement material that helps teams win business.
Support launches of new features, packages and add-ons.
Produce product documentation, guides and e-learning.
Develop customer stories and value-focused content.
Keep product communication consistent across Product, Sales and Customer Experience.
Develop templates and best-practice content that make it easier for customers to get value from Smartsign
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You are a strong communicator who enjoys making complex things simple. You are structured, curious and hands-on. You enjoy talking
to different teams, collecting input and turning it into useful material that people actually use.
WE BELIEVE YOU HAVE:
2–4 years of experience from Product Marketing, B2B Marketing, Sales Enablement, Content Marketing or a similar role
Strong writing and communication skills in English and Swedish
The ability to explain software, features and customer value in a simple and concrete way
Experience creating presentations, sales material, guides or customer-facing content
Curiosity about AI tools and experience using them to improve research, writing, content creation and productivity
Experience using tools for presentations, content creation, basic design, collaboration and digital publishing
Interest in B2B SaaS, digital products and commercial growth
Experience from a SaaS or other B2B software company is an advantage.
Experience with tools such as HubSpot, WordPress, Webflow, Figma, Canva, Adobe, Google Analytics, ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude or
similar is a plus.
You don't need experience from every area above but most successful candidates will recognize themselves in several of them.

LOCATION AND PRACTICAL INFORMATION
This is a full-time, permanent position.
The role is based at our headquarters in Borlänge, with a flexible working setup that combines office and remote work.
You will report to the CEO or appointed marketing lead and work closely with Product, Sales and Customer Experience.
Start date by agreement.
