At Thornbury
Community Services (TCS), we believe exceptional care starts with genuine connections.
We’re looking for Support Workers within Learning Disability Services who are committed to making a real difference - people who truly care and want to build long-term
partnerships with those they support.
This isn’t
just a job; it’s an opportunity to empower an individual with ASD and Learning
Disability to live safe, fulfilled lives. You’ll help clients achieve personal goals,
explore new hobbies, and enjoy trips into the community - all while creating relationships that bring lasting satisfaction for
both you and them.
We are looking
for a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Support Worker to provide person-centered support to a teenage male. In
this rewarding role, you will assist with social interaction and community engagement, supporting him to access a variety of
activities and interests both at home and within the local community. Responsibilities will include driving the client to and from
activities, providing support with bedtime routines, and undertaking overnight support as required. Applicants must hold a
full UK driving license and have business insurance for their vehicle, or be willing to obtain business insurance. We are
seeking a flexible individual who can demonstrate availability to meet the needs of the support package and adapt
to changing requirements when necessary. Full competency-based training will be provided, along with a comprehensive induction
programme that includes shadow shifts, ensuring you feel confident and fully supported in your role. The ideal
candidate will be compassionate, proactive, and committed to promoting independence, confidence, and positive social
experiences.
Deliver person-centered care within the client’s own
home.
Maintain safety whilst making positive risk
decisions.
Enrich life and promote independence.
Build trust and long-term relationships that make every day
meaningful.

Offer
We value our support workers and
Employee Assistance Programme
(EAP) – confidential wellbeing support.
Travel and mileage expenses – reimbursed for your shifts.
Exceptional pay rates – among the highest in the UK.
Bespoke training and in person competency

services.
