The Service Manager, Dealership Operations is responsible for the success of the dealership’s service businesses, overall
facilities management, and OEM relationship. This leader oversees a team of up to 40 team members, driving customer satisfaction,
profit growth, compliance, and operational excellence across the dealership.

About the team and position The Service Manager, Dealership Operations is responsible for the success of the dealership’s service businesses, overall facilities management, and OEM relationship. This leader oversees a team of up to 40 team members, driving customer satisfaction, profit growth, compliance, and operational excellence across the dealership. What you’ll be doing Management – Service Operations * Lead all aspects of the dealership’s Service operations to achieve revenue, gross profit, and customer satisfaction targets. * Oversee daily/weekly performance reviews, analyzing KPIs (CSI, RO count, gross profit, technician efficiency). Implement action plans to hit targets. * Drive consistent execution of operating standards (standardized work, 5S, safety protocols, visual management). * Partner with Parts Manager to improve workflow, reduce cycle times, and maximize shop and parts department throughput. * Monitor warranty processes to ensure compliance and maximize claim recovery. * Continuously improve customer experience, speed of service, and first-time fix rate. Facilities – Dealership Maintenance & Compliance * Ensure the service facility is well-maintained, clean, and fully compliant with brand and OEM image standards. * Directly manage service vendors (e.g., paint and body, detail to ensure efficient, high quality work at a competitive cost. Enforce workplace safety standards, OSHA requirements, and loss-prevention measures to protect associates and customers. Relationship – OEM & Brand Alignment * Serve as a liaison with OEM representatives for service. * Ensure alignment with OEM warranty policies, recall processes, and customer satisfaction programs. * Proactively manage OEM facility inspections, responding to audit findings and driving timely resolution of issues. * Build and sustain positive working relationships with OEM field teams to ensure strong collaboration and support. People Leadership & Development * Recruit, hire, and retain high-performing Service team; maintain a bench of candidates for key positions. * Improve, sustain and oversee training, certification, and career progression programs for associates at all levels. * Deliver competency-based feedback and performance reviews to drive accountability and growth. * Mentor service associates to strengthen leadership capabilities, functional expertise and operational execution. * Foster a culture of teamwork, engagement, and continuous improvement throughout the dealership. Continuous Improvement * Identify and prioritize opportunities for process and performance improvement across fixed operations. * Lead and sponsor Lean/Kaizen initiatives that increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer experience. * Hold teams accountable for measurable results from continuous improvement efforts. You will be the primary point of contact for service customers at Carvana Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram. You'll guide them through the maintenance and repair process, ensure an exceptional customer experience, and act as the liaison between our technicians and customers. What you’ll be doing * Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner upon arrival. * Consult with customers to understand vehicle concerns and clearly document issues on Repair Orders (ROs). * Advise customers on recommended services and maintenance based on OEM guidelines, technician findings, and vehicle history. * Provide accurate cost and time estimates for service work. * Maintain constant communication with customers regarding repair status, additional recommendations, and any delays. * Coordinate with technicians, parts department, and service manager to ensure timely completion of work. * Ensure all warranty and manufacturer processes are followed correctly. * Perform vehicle walk-arounds and assist with loaner or shuttle coordination if needed. * Follow up post-service to ensure customer satisfaction and encourage survey completion. What you should have * 3+ years of experience in a Customer facing role * Proven experience as a Service Advisor, ASM, or similar role in an automotive dealership or reputable independent shop. * Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, especially Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram models, is a plus. * Excellent customer service, communication and time management skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. * Strong organizational and multitasking abilities while maintaining high standards. * Proficiency with dealership DMS (Tekion) and scheduling software. * Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. ABOUT THE ROLE The Regional Senior Manager, Dealership Operations leads Carvana’s fixed operations performance across multiple service centers in the East region. This leader owns regional P&L, throughput, labor efficiency, parts performance, and customer experience. They are accountable for consistent execution and results across every location. This is a multi-site leadership role focused on building capable site leaders, standardizing how the network operates, and balancing capacity against demand from site to site. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING * Own regional P&L — revenue, labor efficiency, gross profit, and customer experience across all sites in the region. * Manage and develop store level GMs (typically 3–4 sites); hold each site leader accountable to targets and grow their capability. * Review site and regional KPIs and drive action plans where sites are off target; identify underperforming sites early and close the gaps. * Ensure consistent SOP execution across all sites and partner with the Implementation & Training team on rollout of new processes and tools. * Balance capacity against demand across sites, coordinating with centralized teams so volume and repair mix match each site’s capacity. * Resolve cross-site issues and partner with central functions on behalf of the region. * Run the regional operating cadence: weekly action planning, weekly targets reviews, and the monthly forecast & actuals review. * Maintain alignment with OEM (particularly Stellantis) warranty, recall, and CSI programs, and uphold safety and compliance standards across all sites. * Represent regional performance, risks, and investment needs to corporate leadership. WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE * 7+ years of leadership experience in Fixed Operations, including multi-site or regional responsibility; Stellantis experience strongly preferred. * Proven track record managing P&L across multiple locations and exceeding OEM CSI, gross profit, and operational goals. * Demonstrated success developing and managing site-level leaders. * Strong knowledge of Stellantis systems (DealerConnect, wiADVISOR, STAR Parts, Mopar standards) strongly preferred. * Strong business acumen with the ability to manage regional P&L, budgets, and forecasts. * Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to drive results through others. * Willingness to travel regularly between sites within the region.
