At Icomera, we build technology that keeps people connected while they’re on the move. Every day, our solutions deliver fast, reliable internet and digital services on trains, trams, buses, and coaches - supporting millions of passengers across the world.
Join Icomera as a 3rd Line NOC Analyst, tackling complex issues across onboard networks where mobility, unstable links, and real-world conditions make troubleshooting anything but routine. This role is for analysts who go beyond resolving incidents—digging into networking, and system behavior to uncover the root causes behind problems others can’t explain.
Job type: Full-time
Workplace conditions: Hybrid
Location: Gothenburg, Sweden
We’re looking for a 3rd line NOC analyst who can take on complex, cross-layer issues that go beyond configuration and require understanding how the system actually behaves under load, mobility, and failure conditions.
Your mission: dig deep, untangle complex issues, and collaborate with product teams to transform uncertainty into clarity. By pinpointing root causes or uncovering the right feature ideas, you’ll help shape elegant, lasting solutions that make a real difference.

client experience degradation under load or poor RF conditions

Multiple WAN links (LTE/5G/LEO), NAT, QoS, VPNs

Client side, Linux networking stack, configuration, or hardware behavior
Working with software, embedded, and product teams when needed
Creating tools, methods, and documentation to improve troubleshooting efficiency
Tcpdump, ip, iptables, logs, system behaviour

Troubleshooting across all layers of the OSI model on board and in the cloud
Routers, Wi‑Fi APs, or similar network equipment
Handling unclear or intermittent problems in production system
Exposure to cellular networks (LTE/5G behaviour, failover, signal impact)
Experience in high-availability or multi-link environments
Background in NOC, escalation teams, or advanced support roles
You are a curious mind—part detective, part problem-solver—someone who won’t stop at surface-level answers. With a strong foundation in Linux and networking, you enjoy digging into complex issues, following the data, and piecing together what’s really happening across systems. Comfortable working across layers, you persist until you understand the root cause—especially when the problem isn’t obvious.
