You will be based at our client on the west coast of Sweden. Our client is a European research and development organisation

working on next-generation vehicle architectures, digital technologies, and intelligent systems. This is a longterm, full-time,

on-site assignment.

Our client is looking for an AI Architect (EU AI Platform Engineer / Architect) to own the EU-side architecture, deployment, and

adaptation of an agentic AI platform. You ensure that shared platform components can be securely, compliantly, and reliably

deployed within the EU cloud and enterprise environment.

You act as the primary technical interface between EU application teams, EU IT infrastructure, and the broader platform

engineering organisation. You define and maintain the EU reference architecture, manage EU deployment requirements, and keep

alignment with the platform roadmap and architecture decisions.

• Own the EU reference architecture for agent runtime, model gateway, connector/tooling framework, and SDK layer; adapt shared

components for EU deployment and compliance.

• Define and enforce Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) where EU requirements diverge; represent EU needs in joint architecture

reviews.

• Deploy and operate platform services on approved EU cloud infrastructure with Cloud/DevOps and EU IT; own technical aspects of

the IT operating agreement (provisioning, IAM, network, incident escalation).

• Ensure compliance with EU data-residency, retention, and cross-border transfer requirements; integrate with EU enterprise

systems (identity providers, internal APIs, document/data platforms).

• Define secure connector patterns for Big Data and Knowledge Database Services (vector search, enterprise search, knowledge

graph); enable EU application teams with reusable patterns, SDKs, and architecture reviews.

Expected outcomes within the first months include an approved EU platform reference architecture, core services deployed in EU

cloud with baseline observability and security, and at least one EU application team building on reusable platform patterns.

Strong drive to take on new challenges, easy adapting to new environments and scopes, collaborative and open-minded. Preferred:

GDPR-aware architecture and EU data-residency experience; familiarity with EU AI Act implications; automotive, mobility, or

manufacturing enterprise background; tools such as LangChain/LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, Terraform, ArgoCD, OpenTelemetry, or

equivalents.
