About the Role
You will join a modern development team working with cloud-based services where scalability, operational stability, and efficient AWS usage are central to success. The role combines hands-on back-end development with ownership across the full software lifecycle, from understanding requirements and shaping solutions to deployment, monitoring, optimization, and production operations.
A key part of the work is improving AWS-based services with a focus on scaling challenges, cost efficiency, and sustainable architecture decisions. You will work in a collaborative setting where open communication, shared responsibility, and continuous improvement are part of everyday work. Job DescriptionYou will develop and improve back-end services in Java and Python.
You will build, maintain, and optimize cloud-based solutions in AWS.
You will work across the full lifecycle, from requirements and design to deployment, monitoring, and operations.
You will contribute to DevOps practices through CI/CD, automation, and operational ownership.
You will identify AWS cost drivers and help improve cost-efficient architecture and resource usage.
You will solve scaling challenges in cloud-based services and support stable production environments.
You will take part in technical discussions, code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement.
You will collaborate closely with your team, stakeholders, and other teams to create secure, maintainable, and high-quality solutions.
RequirementsStrong skills in Java and Python development.
Strong experience with AWS and with building or operating cloud-based services.
Experience with microservices, APIs, distributed systems, or cloud-native architecture.
Experience working in a DevOps way.
Experience with CI/CD, automation, monitoring, and production operations.
Previous experience with AWS cost reduction, including identifying cost drivers and optimizing cloud resource usage.
Experience working with scaling challenges in cloud-based services.
Experience with modern development practices such as Git, code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement.
Good understanding of secure and maintainable software development.
Fluent English, spoken and written.
Nice to haveExperience with MQTT or other event-driven or message-based communication protocols.
Experience with observability, reliability, performance optimization, or security.
Experience working in Agile teams.
Experience collaborating in international or cross-functional environments.
