THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Splunk Consultant or Splunk Specialist to join our Splunk team and work on customer-facing
projects.
This is a hands-on technical role for someone who already has practical experience with Splunk and wants to deepen their expertise
while solving real operational challenges for large organizations.
Depending on your background and interests, your work may include Splunk architecture, deployments, integrations, data onboarding,
dashboards, alerting, cloud migrations, platform development and ongoing support.
You will work closely with customers and experienced colleagues, but you will also have the freedom to take ownership of your work
and influence how solutions are designed and delivered.
WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Your responsibilities may include:
Designing, implementing and developing Splunk environments Planning and carrying out Splunk deployment and architecture projects Onboarding data from applications, infrastructure, cloud platforms and other systems Building and maintaining data inputs, parsing, field extractions and integrations Creating searches, dashboards, reports, alerts and operational views using SPL Improving data quality, search performance and platform scalability Supporting migrations from on-premises Splunk environments to Splunk Cloud Troubleshooting technical issues and supporting customers in production environments Helping customers improve monitoring, logging and observability practices Advising customers on architecture, data usage and Splunk best practices Participating in the development and productization of WeAre’s own Splunk and managed observability services Sharing knowledge and working collaboratively with other Splunk specialists Depending on the project, you may also work with areas such as Splunk Enterprise Security, Splunk IT Service Intelligence, Splunk
Observability Cloud, Cribl, OpenTelemetry or cloud-native environments.
WHAT YOUR DAY-TO-DAY WORK COULD LOOK LIKE
A typical day might involve:
Meeting a customer to understand a new monitoring or data requirement Configuring data collection from an application, server or cloud environment Investigating why data is missing, incorrectly parsed or difficult to search Creating an SPL search, alert, dashboard or report for a specific operational need Improving an existing Splunk architecture or integration Troubleshooting performance or platform issues with the customer Collaborating with colleagues on a cloud migration or observability project Developing a reusable solution that can support future customer engagements The work is varied: some projects focus on architecture and implementation, while others involve continuous development,
optimization, support or managed services.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
We would like you to have:
Practical professional experience working with Splunk Experience with Splunk Enterprise, Splunk Cloud Platform or both Good understanding of log data, data ingestion and monitoring Experience creating searches, dashboards, reports or alerts using SPL Understanding of how Splunk components and data flows work Experience troubleshooting Splunk-related issues A solid understanding of IT infrastructure, applications, networks or cloud environments Ability to communicate clearly with customers and translate their needs into practical technical solutions Professional working proficiency in Finnish and in English EXPERIENCE THAT WOULD BE VALUABLE
You do not need to have everything listed below, but experience in one or more of these areas would be beneficial:
Splunk architecture, administration or large-scale deployments Splunk Enterprise Security or IT Service Intelligence Splunk Observability Cloud Data onboarding, parsing, field extraction and source-type configuration Linux and scripting with Python, Bash or PowerShell AWS, Azure or hybrid cloud environments Docker, Kubernetes or OpenTelemetry Information security, SIEM, ITOps or application performance monitoring Consulting or customer-facing technical work We are interested in both experienced Splunk consultants and technical Splunk specialists who are ready to take the next step in
their careers. You do not need to know every Splunk product, but you should already be comfortable working practically with the
platform.

You must be based in Finland Our office is located in Pasila, Helsinki, next to the Mall of Tripla You may work from the office, from home or elsewhere in Finland, provided the arrangement works for the customer and your team Occasional travel to customer locations may be required SALARY AND BENEFITS
