The Compliance Team is a close-knit, humble team of 5 members responsible for handling regulatory requirements and reporting to

authorities in multiple countries where Paf holds gaming licenses (Sweden, Malta, Spain, Åland, Estonia, and Latvia). The team

ensures accurate and timely compliance reporting and develops and maintains systems that enable Paf to adhere to local laws and

regulations.

• Backend Development: Design, implement, and maintain scalable backend systems within an AWS-based microservices architecture.
• Infrastructure: Work with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation and build and manage CI/CD

pipelines.

• Automation & Integration: Automate processes and integrate with AWS services like Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, SNS, SQS,

and CloudWatch.

• Regulatory Reporting: Ensure that our systems meet the specific requirements of each licensed market.

• Experience: At least 3+ years of backend development experience, preferably with Node.js/TypeScript; experience with Java or

Python is also a plus.

• Technical Competence: A strong understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and cloud services,

particularly AWS.

• IaC Knowledge: Experience working with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Problem Solving: The ability to quickly identify and resolve issues with a precise and systematic approach.
• Language: Fluent English, as our team communicates exclusively in English.
