To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset — who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. WHAT YOU'LL BRING * 10+ years of experience in Developer Relations, Developer Advocacy, Developer Experience, or a closely related technical field, with a track record of driving measurable developer adoption. * 5+ years of leadership experience managing, mentoring, or formally leading technical/DevRel teams, with the judgment to hire and grow advocates. * Strong hands-on technical foundation: you can build and debug real demos and explain architecture tradeoffs to both builders and internal partners. * Working fluency with modern AI development: how LLMs work (prompting, grounding, evaluation), common patterns (RAG, tools/agents, function calling), and hands-on experience building with LLM APIs or agent frameworks (e.g., Snowflake Cortex, OpenAI, Anthropic, OSS models). * Solid grounding in data and analytics workflows (SQL, ELT/ETL, dbt, orchestration) and empathy for the day-to-day realities of data and engineering teams. * Excellent communication and storytelling able to turn complex AI and data concepts into clear narratives for technical and executive audiences. * Demonstrated cross-functional leadership: influencing senior stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Field, and Marketing, and turning ambiguous work into executable plans. * Comfort defining outcome-based metrics and using data plus qualitative signals to prioritize, iterate, and decide what to stop doing. NICE TO HAVE * Experience with Snowflake or other cloud data platforms. * Familiarity with the Snowflake developer ecosystem, such as Notebooks, Streamlit, Cortex Agents, CoCo, CoWork etc. * Recognized community standing committer/maintainer role, foundation/governance participation, or a sustained presence in strategic developer communities. * A history of building reusable adoption systems (reference architectures, diagnostic tools, workshop programs) and communities * Prior experience as a software, data, or ML/AI engineer. WHY JOIN * Shape how AI agents change the way data and engineering teams build, at a strategic inflection point for Snowflake. * High visibility: your team's work shows up in key narratives with top customers and senior leadership. * Build and lead a team in a greenfield, high-impact area with real ownership from day one. * Be part of a culture that values thoughtful craftsmanship, velocity, and customer obsession.
