At Soho House the Membership Receptionist is responsible for welcoming, directing or signing in all members and guests to the property. As a Receptionist, you will wear many hats; reception desk and handle basic admin duties,  attending the cloak room as well as performing guestlist responsibilities.  As part of our Soho House team, it's your job to make sure our members and guests have a great experience every time. Responsibilities... * Ensure every member is welcomed by name (if local) and guest is welcomed with open arms and in a hospitable manner. * Answer high-volume phone lines and calls for restaurant, roof and cinema reservations, general inquiries, and deliveries, messages for members and from employees; among other inquiries. * Well-versed on standard Q&A regarding menus, hours of operation and amenity availability/pricing. * Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work environment, reception area, desk and coat check closet. * Perform Guest List duties on the floor level, club and/or Rooftop (if applicable). * Support, redirect and problem solve in real-time to ensure any guest related concerns are addressed and action items have been set. * Assist guests by checking/ retrieving their coats and/or items they left. * Build relationships with members and guests and communicate and red flags and positive feedback to management. * Influence a fun and positive atmosphere by being approachable and professional. * Performs other duties as required to support the running of the house. At Soho House the Night Audit performs end-of-day accounting tasks and overnight front desk duties. He assists late-night guests, process check-ins and check-outs, and address other customer requests. He also audits, reconciles, and balances daily financial activities. A successful Health Club Receptionist for Soho House will ideally have up to 2 years’ experience in a busy high-profile venue and a natural flair for first class service. You’ll be reliable, friendly and happy to be a key part of the team that strives for success.   * Previous experience in a receptionist, front-of-house, or customer service role, ideally in a health club, spa, or hospitality environment.  * Strong interpersonal and communication skills.  * Confident with booking systems, point-of-sale systems, and basic computer skills.  * Professional, approachable, and well-presented.  * Able to multitask and work under pressure while maintaining excellent service.  * Fluent in English  * Organised and reliable  * Ability to handle feedback to achieve member satisfaction  * Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment  * Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions  Physical Requirements:  * Must be over the age of 18  * Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects by hand  * Able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours  * Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb as required  The salary range for this role if filled within the UK is listed below.
