Team & role overview
We’re looking for a practical, positive and service-minded Office Assistant to join our team and work closely with our Workplace &
Culture Coordinator.
You’ll be an important part of making our everyday office life run smoothly. This is a very hands-on role where you’ll be up and
about throughout the day, taking care of the practical things that make a workplace work.
Think setting up for lunch, receiving and putting away deliveries, restocking drinks and snacks, keeping our kitchens and shared
spaces in order, preparing meeting rooms and helping set up for events. In other words: this is not a sit-at-your-desk-all-day
kind of job.
You’ll work closely with our Workplace & Culture Coordinator, supporting the day-to-day operations of the office and making sure
things are taken care of before anyone has to ask.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys being the person who spots what needs doing - and simply gets it done.
What you’ll be doing:
As our Office Assistant, you’ll support our Workplace & Culture Coordinator across a range of practical workplace tasks,
including:
Keeping the office running smoothly by making sure shared spaces, kitchens and facilities are tidy, organised and well-stocked
Taking care of office supplies and orders, including receiving deliveries and getting everything where it needs to go
Supporting daily lunch routines, from setup to clean-up
Preparing meeting rooms and shared spaces for meetings, Townhalls and other activities
Supporting internal events and office initiatives with practical preparation, setup and clean-up
Working with external suppliers and service partners when needed
Keeping an eye on the details, from coffee, snacks and drinks to kitchen supplies
Being an extra pair of hands for our Workplace & Culture Coordinator, jumping in wherever practical help is needed
Be the welcoming face for guests arriving at the reception
The role will naturally evolve over time, and we’re looking for someone who is happy to take responsibility and help make things
happen.
