Student Worker - Payroll & Accounting
We're one of Europe's fastest-growing podcast and audiobook platforms, and we're now looking for a Student Worker to support our
wonderful Finance team.
THIS IS THE ROLE
Our Finance team is looking for a proactive, dependable Student Worker to help keep our payroll and accounting systems running
smoothly. You'll work closely with our Payroll Manager as part of the Accounting & Control team, providing the administrative
backbone for payroll and bookkeeping across 400+ employees in 10 European locations.
It's a hands-on role with real responsibility - the kind of work that sharpens your eye for detail and gives you a proper look at
how a fast-growing company keeps its finances in order.
The role is based at our Copenhagen office and reports to the Payroll Accounting Manager.
YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES IN THE ROLE
- Payroll Data & Validation: Performing data entry and validation of monthly payroll changes, including salary adjustments,
bonuses, and absence data.
- Accounting Support: Preparing payroll journals for accounting and assisting with reconciliations and monthly financial
reporting.
Ad hoc: Support innovation through AI/ automation as well as ad hoc projects.
Audit & Compliance: Supporting the compilation of documentation required for audits and ongoing compliance checks.
Administrative Operations: Handling administrative tasks and data validation.
- Business Continuity: Acting as an operational backup for payroll processing to ensure continuous coverage during team sickness
or vacation periods.
THIS IS YOU
You're a motivated student who learns fast and wants to grow and learn from being part of a great Finance team. You're a genuine
team player who'd rather solve things together than alone. We’d love to hear from you if:
You're currently studying Accounting, Finance, or HR.
You're highly reliable, with the kind of attention to detail that keeps quality high even when things move quickly.
You're motivated and at your best when solving challenges.
You work efficiently against deadlines, between weekly payroll, payments, and the month-end close.
You're fluent in English; Danish is a plus.
We will conduct interviews on an ongoing basis, with a preferred starting date of September 1 2026 or shortly thereafter. We are
