AT ROHLIK, WE GROW FAST — AND THAT GROWTH ONLY WORKS WHEN OPERATIONS, PROCESSES AND PEOPLE MOVE TOGETHER. NOW WE’RE LAUNCHING A BRAND-NEW, HIGHLY AUTOMATED FULFILLMENT CENTER, AND THAT CREATES A RARE OPPORTUNITY: TO JOIN A SITE FROM THE VERY BEGINNING AND HELP SHAPE HOW IT WORKS FROM DAY ONE. WE’RE LOOKING FOR AN OPERATIONS MANAGER WHO WILL LEAD A CORE SHIFT, MANAGE A TEAM OF AREA MANAGERS TO DRIVE HIGH PERFORMANCE, AND HELP TURN A NEW BUILDING INTO A HIGH-PERFORMING OPERATION. THIS IS THE KIND OF ROLE WHERE YOU DON’T INHERIT YEARS OF LEGACY. YOU HELP BUILD THE SETUP, INFLUENCE THE STANDARDS, AND LEAVE A VISIBLE FOOTPRINT FROM THE START. WHY THIS ROLE IS EXCITING * You’ll join at the launch of a new fulfillment center, which means real influence from day one. * You won’t just maintain existing ways of working — you’ll help build, shape and establish operational processes from scratch. * A new site means new teams, new automation tech, new habits and a real chance to set the culture the right way from the beginning. * You’ll work at the intersection of leadership, automation, shift-level performance and continuous improvement. * You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams like OpEx, Automation, HR, IT, and Transport to solve live challenges. * This is a role for someone who thrives on startup energy, likes dynamic situations, visible impact and building something that will scale. WHAT YOU’LL DO As Operations Manager, you will lead a core shift, managing a team of Area Managers to drive high performance across safety, quality, and productivity. You will: * Own the shift: Drive shift-level operational performance, safety compliance, and labor management * Lead & develop: Coach, mentor and scale your team of Area Managers, ensuring optimal staffing, skills, and readiness * Work with cross-functional teams (Automation, OpEx, HR, IT, Transport) to solve live challenges and align resources * Monitor site KPIs, conduct root-cause analyses, and champion a continuous improvement culture * Support implementation of new processes, tools and automated systems across the fulfillment center * Drive standardisation, safety compliance and best-practice adoption in a new operational environment * Support operations during peak periods, weekends and holidays with hands-on problem-solving * Build an environment with stronger standards, better processes and an engaging, high-energy culture from Day 1 * Drive your shift to successful outcomes and help teams adopt new ways of working smoothly and consistently WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR * 2+ years of experience in operations, logistics or manufacturing management * Proven track record of managing teams (20+ ppl) in fast-paced environments * Strong analytical mindset, data-driven decision-making and problem-solving approach * Excellent communication, coordination and leadership skills * High school leaving exam (Abitur/Matura) or higher education * Proficiency in English, Czech is a plus not mandatory * Availability to work regular business hours, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays to support operational needs Nice to have: * University degree or MBA in a related field * Experience with Lean, Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies * Experience with WMS tools and high-volume automated fulfillment operations WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU * Fair reward – You’ll get an attractive fixed salary, with no bonus games or politics. Great work deserves clear and fair recognition. * Good food every day – You can enjoy a free lunch every day, plus fresh fruit and vegetables at work. Because good food fuels good work. * Extra time off – We know rest matters. In addition to statutory vacation, you can also take extra paid time off by agreement, always with shift planning and operational needs in mind. * Xtra membership – You’ll get free Xtra membership and 10% cashback on all purchases on Rohlik.cz. * Sport & wellbeing – Stay active through company sports challenges or a subsidised Multisport card. * A safe work environment – You’ll work in a modern warehouse with the equipment and support you need to do your job well and safely. * A team that pulls together – Collaboration matters in warehouse operations. You’ll be part of a team where people support each other, keep the pace and handle daily operations together. * Work that matters – Thanks to your work, fresh food reaches thousands of customers on time.
