TL;DR: You will build Lovable's treasury function from scratch, working directly with our Head of Tax. This is a high-ownership, high-impact role for someone who knows how to set up treasury infrastructure in a fast-moving environment and wants to do it at one of the fastest-growing AI companies in the world. Why Lovable? Lovable lets anyone and everyone build software with any language. From solopreneurs to Fortune 100 teams, millions of people use Lovable to transform raw ideas into real products - fast. We are at the forefront of a foundational shift in software creation, which means you have an unprecedented opportunity to change the way the digital world works. Lovable-built applications and websites are visited hundreds of millions of times a month, and our enterprise footprint is compounding fast. And we’re just getting started. We’re a small, talent-dense team building a generation-defining company from Stockholm. We value extreme ownership, high velocity, and low-ego collaboration. We seek out people who care deeply, ship fast, and are eager to make a dent in the world. What we’re looking for Lovable is scaling fast across multiple entities and geographies. As our first Treasury Lead, you'll work alongside the Head of Tax to build the treasury function from the ground up: investment strategy, cash management, FX framework, banking relationships, and intercompany structure. This is not a process-maintenance role. You'll be building, not inheriting, across a multi-entity, multi-currency business that is growing quickly. If you thrive in greenfield environments, find smarter ways to work, and want real ownership from day one, this is for you. You should have: * Minimum 8+ years of treasury experience, ideally spanning cash management, investments, FX, and banking * Experience setting up or significantly building out a treasury function, not just running one * Strong understanding of cash investment strategies and risk management frameworks * Hands-on experience with FX risk management and hedging in a multi-currency, multi-entity environment * Background in high-growth tech or SaaS - you understand the pace and the lack of playbook * Experience building and maintaining banking relationships and driving cost reduction across fees and transactions * A genuine interest in AI tools and agentic ways of working - you look for smarter approaches, not just faster ones * The ability to work independently and make decisions without a team behind you yet * Excellent communication skills in English * Based in Stockholm or willing to relocate What you’ll do * Build and own Lovable's investment policy and cash management framework across all entities * Optimise yield on cash balances while maintaining appropriate liquidity and risk parameters * Establish treasury infrastructure to support the business as it scales across multiple geographies and entities * Build and implement an FX framework as international revenue grows * Drive cost reduction across FX, banking fees, and payment transactions * Build up and maintain banking relationships across the group * Own daily cash visibility across all entities and banks * Manage intercompany financing arrangements and ensure they are properly documented * Partner with Finance, Tax, and Legal on treasury implications of commercial and structural decisions * Build scalable treasury processes and actively explore how AI and automation can make the function smarter About your application Please submit your application in English. It’s our company language, so you’ll be speaking lots of it if you join. We treat all candidates equally - if you’re interested, please apply through our careers portal.
