Hybrid role with two to three days a week in our London office
Seccl is the Octopus-owned embedded investment platform that’s on a mission to helping more people to invest – and invest well.
We’re B-Corp certified with an amazing product-market fit, impressive early traction and the potential to transform an outdated
industry, for the better. We've been growing fast and will scale even faster over the next few years.
We’re also proud to be part of Octopus, the £multi billion group that's on a mission to breathe new life into broken industries,
through companies like Octopus Energy, Octopus Investments and Octopus Money.
Check out the Seccl website for the latest on our products and our mission to shape the future of investments.
We’re looking for a Lead product marketing manager to join our Marketing team. This is a newly created role designed to bring
greater clarity, consistency and commercial impact to how Seccl’s platform is understood, positioned and adopted.
You’ll turn deep product understanding into clear commercial narratives, practical enablement and stronger customer adoption.
Sitting within the Marketing team and broader commercial function, you’ll work closely with Product, Sales and Growth to
understand where customers realise value, where friction exists, and how Seccl’s platform can support both new pipeline and
existing customer growth.
Seccl powers investment propositions for digital banks, wealthtechs, investment platforms and adviser firms. As we scale, we need
someone senior enough to shape product marketing at Seccl, but hands-on enough to do the hard work themselves: building product
fluency, creating usable materials, improving adoption and turning insight into clear, actionable outputs.
You’ll play a key role in making sure our propositions are easy to understand, commercially relevant and consistently used across
the business - supporting launches, sales conversations, customer growth, website messaging, campaigns and strategic
opportunities.

OUR MISSION At Omnea, we’re reinventing how enterprise businesses operate, starting with the most painful parts: procurement – where a single purchase can drag on for months, trigger 50+ emails, and pull in Finance, Legal, Security, and IT just to get something approved. We’ve raised $75M from Khosla Ventures, Insight Partners, and Accel to change that. Our AI-native platform connects every person, step, and system so buying is fast, safe, and efficient – one place to request, automated approvals and renewals, real-time supplier risk, and complete spend visibility. The opportunity is massive. Every enterprise on the planet has this problem and nobody has solved it. We’ve 10x’d ARR to double-digit millions in 18 months and are trusted by global enterprises like Spotify, MongoDB, Monzo, and Albertsons. We’re now the 4th fastest growing startup in Europe & the Sunday Times' #1 Best Medium Sized Tech Company To Work for. Our team previously scaled Tessian (cybersecurity tech, backed by Sequoia, Balderton, Accel, acquired post-Series C), and our team includes ex-founders operators who’ve grown unicorns, shipped world-class products, and executed at the highest levels. You’ll work alongside leaders like Ben, Abs, Sabrina, and Rebe. FIND OUT MORE ABOUT THE TEAM AND LIFE AT OMNEA HERE. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR You'll craft Omnea's product and AI narrative for the Series B-C stage of growth, ensuring people understand what we do, why it matters, and how we differentiate from competitors. You'll sit at the intersection of product & go-to-market: owning how we showcase the things we are building, from new product launches to sales decks to competitor analysis. In a world full of substance-less 'AI washing', you will deliver clear, compelling messaging that cuts through the noise and inspires procurement teams at the world’s leading companies to redefine what good looks like. You'll get to know our customers well, understand the impact Omnea’s technology is having on their businesses, and incorporate those stories into our entire GTM motion. In the AI era, you’ll understand how to balance hype and education to engage and inspire our audience. The right person is a structured operator with low ego and a “get it done” mindset: you don't want to just discuss high-level strategy, you want to execute. You'll interview customers, write articles, build decks, and train others on how to position the product. You'll want to get stuck in; maybe even doing a launch video yourself if needed! WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT? * You'll be our GTM team's most important partner: the person who makes sure Product, Sales, Customer, and Marketing are all working from the same story, and telling it with clarity and conviction. * You'll own positioning and messaging: You'll define how we talk about the platform to procurement leaders, finance teams, and anyone evaluating whether to buy Omnea. You'll translate complex product concepts into clear language that resonates with our buyers. You'll make sure every channel (website, sales deck, analyst conversation, campaigns, social, press) tells a cohesive story, and tells it well. * You'll amplify our customers' voices: You'll interview customers, identify what actually changed for the person doing the job, and shape that into a story others can get excited by. A good customer story is about a person and their problem, told honestly. The insights you surface will inform how we position, sell, and build. * You'll lead product launches end-to-end: From the moment something is on the roadmap, you'll be strategising and defining how we bring it to market. That means owning the narrative, identifying channels, coordinating across Product, Sales, and Marketing, building the launch assets, and tracking the desired impact. You'll close the loop too: bringing what you learn from the market back into the product roadmap. * You'll arm the GTM team to win: You'll build the product documentation, materials and Claude skills our team needs to close deals with companies like Spotify, Adyen, and Monzo. You'll own the competitive intelligence function: tracking the landscape, understanding market shifts, and feeding that back into how we position and sell. ABOUT YOU * You've spent at least 5 years in B2B SaaS in product marketing or a highly commercial role (VC, IB, or similar). Given the breadth of this role - from launch coordination, sales enablement, competitive intelligence, to customer storytelling - the strongest candidates will have hands-on experience across more than one of these areas. You've built differentiated messaging from scratch for a product in a noisy or complex category, and successfully coordinated cross-functional product launches that drove commercial impact. * You write exceptionally well. You can take a product spec and turn it into a narrative that resonates with our buyers. You have taste, empathy and judgment. You've published externally, perhaps articles, web copy, or case studies, with emotional intelligence, creativity and taste. * You don’t just follow frameworks from years past. You are capable of rethinking enablement, marketing, and positioning for a fast-changing world, and of adopting the latest technologies to give Omnea’s GTM teams a competitive edge. * You understand enterprise sales cycles and have either pitched products yourself or worked closely with a sales team. You’re comfortable owning competitive intelligence, and you know the difference between materials that get used and materials that collect dust. You've helped people win deals with messaging and other assets. * You've done your best work in a startup or scale-up environment. You know what it means to build the playbook while executing it. You're not waiting for a brand team, a design resource, or a content agency to ship great work. You are resourceful and energised by the challenge of making something complicated feel clear & obvious. * You have a track record of top performance in academia, in the workplace, or in both. You bring strong opinions and the judgment to back them up. And you understand that impact here means being in the weeds as much as in the strategy: writing, building, calling customers, whatever it takes. At Omnea, we embrace diversity. To build a product that's loved by everyone, we're best served by a team with all sorts of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't quite match the full job spec! And regardless of your race, religion, colour, gender, or anything else! If you think you could be a good fit for Omnea, please reach out. A FEW THINGS TO NOTE: * We offer competitive geo-localised benefits, and you can check out our UK Benefits Package here and our US Benefits Package here. * We work Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays in-person at our offices. At this early stage of our company life-cycle it's important to us that we get this together-time, and you can read more about why we believe this is a winning move here * We're commercial, ambitious and we don't pretend otherwise! We're actively seeking folks looking to make the most of a career-defining opportunity, with the hunger to be part of building something really impressive. You can see our values here and our Omnea Future Founder's fund here! * We sometimes use AI note-takers to help us transcribe interview notes, so we can be more present in your interview. If you'd like to opt out of us using automatic transcribers, please note this in the free text field in your application, otherwise we'll take your application as confirmation that you're happy for us to use notetakers (whether added to video calls or in the background). We are proud to be recognised for both our culture and product, and we are just getting started. Join us as we grow! ADDITIONALLY, WHERE ROLES HAVE HARD-SPECIFIED REQUIREMENTS (E.G. [X] DAYS IN OFFICE, UNABLE TO PROVIDE VISAS, ETC), IF IN YOUR APPLICATION YOU PROVIDE DETERMINISTIC CHECK-BOX CONFIRMATION THAT YOU DO NOT MEET THE HARD-SPECIFIED REQUIREMENTS, DETERMINISTIC (NOT AI OR SUBJECTIVE) AUTOMATIC REJECTION CRITERIA ARE IN PLACE.
