Your future role within QRT * A key member of the global Market Access (MA) team, building and enhancing market access systems for all spectrums of QRT trading business. * You will cover design, development, validation, deployment, and production support of QRT's trading gateways and market data handlers to global exchanges and brokers. * Ownership of exchange upgrades and broker onboardings, including gap analysis, development, and validation/certifications, which may require frequent communications with external exchanges, brokers and third-party providers. * Opportunities to work on low-latency aspects of the MA systems. * You will be exposed to or work on surrounding upstream and downstream systems. * You will be working with almost all teams in QRT, including quantitative analysts/developers, traders, operations, compliance, risk officers in addition to all IT teams. Your present skillset * Minimum 5 years of C++ development on Linux platform. * Python and bash scripting skills essential. * Experience designing and implementing multithreaded and distributed systems. * Experience of exchange trading gateways and/or market data feed handlers. * Experience with FIX trading protocol advantageous. * Good knowledge of financial products desirable. * Experience in low latency optimization and tuning techniques advantageous. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential. * Being a motivated team player, with excellent problem-solving skills. You will join a procurement function that supports technology infrastructure, cloud services and strategic supplier relationships across the firm. The role focuses on transforming complex operational, financial and infrastructure data into actionable insights that support procurement decisions, capacity planning, supplier management and investment strategy. You will work closely with procurement, finance, engineering and operations stakeholders to develop reporting, forecasting and analytics capabilities across a growing technology estate. Your future role within QRT * Extract, cleanse and integrate data from cloud platforms, procurement systems, infrastructure management tools and financial systems * Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting for procurement, infrastructure, finance and executive stakeholders * Analyse infrastructure utilisation, asset lifecycle trends, capacity planning metrics and technology refresh programmes * Combine cloud consumption, procurement, financial and operational datasets to provide business insights and decision support * Analyse cloud, colocation and infrastructure costs to support investment planning and optimisation initiatives * Develop forecasting models for infrastructure demand, supplier commitments and hardware procurement planning * Partner with engineering and operations teams to provide insight into server utilisation, storage growth, network capacity and operational efficiency * Evaluate opportunities to improve infrastructure performance, resiliency and cost effectiveness * Develop KPI frameworks and operational metrics for cloud services, infrastructure assets and operational processes * Build and improve automated reporting, analytics workflows and data pipelines * Present findings and recommendations to technical and non technical stakeholders, including senior leadership * Support strategic decision making through reporting on supplier commitments, infrastructure investment and capacity planning Your present skillset * Bachelor's degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline * 8 or more years of experience in data analysis within procurement, infrastructure, asset management, finance or technology operations * Strong understanding of AWS reporting, cloud financial management and cloud consumption analytics * Experience analysing infrastructure assets, capacity planning, hardware lifecycle management and technology refresh programmes * Advanced Excel skills and strong SQL expertise * Experience using Python for analytics, automation and data processing * Proficiency with Tableau or similar visualisation and reporting tools * Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and generate actionable insights * Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to senior stakeholders * Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast paced environment * Familiarity with ERP platforms and procurement systems such as SAP or Coupa is beneficial * Experience with infrastructure management, asset management or data centre management platforms is advantageous * Knowledge of cloud computing, storage architectures and infrastructure best practices is beneficial * Experience building automated data pipelines, ETL processes and enterprise reporting solutions is advantageous * Understanding of FinOps principles, supplier commitment management and infrastructure investment analysis is beneficial QRT is an equal opportunity employer. The Compliance Technology team are responsible for designing and implementing scalable solutions that enable QRT to meet its regulatory obligations and maintain robust control frameworks. This role collaborates with compliance, technology, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable and effective solutions that support regulatory requirements, operational controls, and business goals. The successful candidate will combine strong technical business analysis skills with process design expertise. Responsibilities include gathering and analysing requirements, working closely with developers to translate business needs into technical solutions, and ensuring delivery of these solutions into production. The role also includes aspects of Scrum Master responsibilities, ensuring agile practices are followed and delivery is well-coordinated. Your Future Role within QRT * Work with Trade Surveillance and Electronic Communications Surveillance teams to gather and document business and regulatory requirements. * Translate surveillance requirements into clear functional specifications, including alert logic, data inputs, workflows, and control expectations. * Support the analysis and improvement of surveillance processes, helping identify control gaps and efficiency opportunities. * Partner with engineering teams to ensure requirements are correctly implemented and tested. * Use structured query language and Python to analyse and validate trade, order, and communications data. * Support alert tuning, investigations, and root cause analysis of data or control issues. * Provide day-to-day support to surveillance teams on data queries and system behaviour. * Contribute to agile delivery activities, including backlog refinement and sprint planning. Your Present Skillset * Experience in technical business analysis within financial services. * Exposure to trading, market surveillance, or compliance environments. * Good structured query language skills and working knowledge of Python. * Understanding of market abuse regulations such as the Market Abuse Regulation and the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive. * Understanding of Financial Information exchange messaging and how electronic orders and executions flow between trading systems. * Familiarity with order management systems and execution management systems, and how order and trade data feeds downstream surveillance and compliance controls. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. * Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
