Fonoa is the Tax Operating System for autonomous tax. AI that tracks every rule, acts on every obligation, and proves every
decision, built on modular infrastructure.
Fonoa’s modules cover the full indirect tax lifecycle: tax ID validation, real-time tax determination, e-invoicing, and returns.
All on one shared data model and integration, with one audit trail. Each added capability makes the others stronger.
Agents monitor obligations, populate returns, catch anomalies and assemble audit packs in seconds. The system does the work.
Humans make the calls. That’s autonomous tax.
We operate across 120+ countries, with clients going live in weeks, if not days.
Trusted by Canva, Netflix, Spotify, Uber, Zoom and Booking.com. Rated 4.5/5 stars and a High Performer on G2 and 4.6/5 stars on

Engineering is central to how we build the business. We focus on solving real customer problems, not just shipping features. We
work in small, high-trust teams, with full ownership across the lifecycle, from design to production and beyond.
As Fonoa continues to scale globally, we are looking for a Software Engineer, ERP Integrations to help us build and expand
integrations with complex enterprise systems used by some of the world’s largest companies.

You’ll work closely with engineering, product, and customers to understand how businesses operate in practice and translate those
workflows into scalable, reliable product capabilities.
We are looking for someone who enjoys operating in complex environments, has strong ownership, and is excited by the challenge of
building systems that sit at the core of critical financial operations.
This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving difficult integration problems, building robust
systems, and continuously improving how enterprise systems connect and exchange data.

TL;DR: This is not a conventional recruiter role. You'll be our first recruiting hire at Conduct, defining how we think about talent acquisition from scratch, owning the process end-to-end across every role, and making sure we keep the bar high enough to build the strongest team in enterprise tech. WHY CONDUCT We believe the world's largest companies should move at the speed of their ideas, not the speed of the decade-old systems they run on. Today they don't. Every process change, every new product line runs into SAP systems layered with decades of custom code and complexity no human mind can fully comprehend. New requirements take months to ship, system migrations cost $100M+ and years of pain. We're building the AI operating system that absorbs this complexity and gives enterprises back their speed and ambition. Major enterprises already trust us with their most critical systems, we've closed game-changing SI partnerships, just raised a $60M Series A, and demand is outpacing what we can service. We're a small, talent-dense team doing our life's work out of London and NYC. Extreme ownership, high velocity, low-ego collaboration. What you build here shapes the company and how the world's largest companies operate. We sponsor visas and are convinced diverse teams build better products, so we especially encourage underrepresented groups in tech to reach out. WHAT YOU'LL OWN Recruiting at Conduct, fully. Every role, every stage, every candidate: from the first outreach message to the signed offer letter. You'll work directly with founders and hiring managers to define what great looks like, then go find it. In practice that means: * Own the full recruiting lifecycle across engineering, product, and GTM: sourcing, outreach, screening, scheduling, pipeline management, offers, and candidate comms * Be the person candidates remember - you run a process that's fast, warm, and leaves people with an exceptional impression of Conduct, whether they get the role or not * Partner closely with hiring managers to sharpen role definitions and calibrate on what we're looking for * Build the infrastructure: ATS setup, scorecards, sourcing playbooks, templates. Building a systems that let us hire at pace without cutting corners * Manage multiple complex searches simultaneously without sacrificing quality or candidate experience * Manage external partners where needed and know when to use them and when not to You'll also shape how we show up as an employer: how we write job specs, how we talk about Conduct to candidates, and how we build our reputation in competitive talent markets. WHO WE HIRE This is a founding role, you'll build as much as you run. You'll fit right in if your former colleagues would call you one of the sharpest recruiters they've ever worked with - and if you care as much about quality as you do about speed. In practice that tends to look like: * 4+ years of hands-on recruiting, ideally in fast-growing tech environments. You've been the person who decided what good looked like, not someone who inherited a process someone else built. * Strong technical recruiting chops. We're an engineering-led company, and technical hiring is a core part of this role. You've personally closed software engineers, staff engineers, and product designers — and you know what great looks like. * Creative sourcing instincts. You build pipelines, not just job postings. You know where to find people who aren't looking, and you adapt fast when the first approach isn't working. * Excellent communication. You build trust with (deeply technical) candidates and senior stakeholders alike, written and verbal. * A genuine point of view on talent. You run intake conversations that produce a real, shared definition of the bar. You hold the broader team accountable to the process, push back when steps get skipped, and build credibility through outcomes.
We’re Capital on Tap 👋 💳 Capital on Tap started because small businesses were underserved. Big banks were slow, their products weren't fit for purpose, and small business owners often couldn't access what they needed. We set out to fix that. Today we're a financial platform - not just a credit card company. We offer a best-in-class business credit card, SME-focused spend management platform, a savings product that hit £1 billion in funds within its first year, and a growing suite of tools and financial products that make running a small business easier. 1,000+ employees, £20bn in annual card spend, 200,000+ customers, 17,000+ Trustpilot reviews averaging 4.7 stars, and we're profitable. We’ve done a pretty good job so far, but we’re just getting started! 🏡🏢This is a hybrid role, our engineering teams work from our London (Moorgate) Office 2 days per week. The Role We're looking for Senior Software Engineers to help us build the products that small businesses across the UK and US rely on every day. You'll work across cross-functional teams alongside Product Managers, QA Engineers, and fellow Software Engineers, owning problems end to end, from the first line of code through to production, monitoring, and continuous improvement. This isn't a role for someone who wants to be handed a ticket and told what to build. We're looking for engineers who understand the problem, challenge the approach when it needs it, and take pride in the quality of what they ship. We only build what the customer wants. What You’ll Be Doing * Designing and building robust, scalable solutions in .Net/C#, taking full ownership of the SDLC from concept through to production * Playing an active role in architectural decisions and technical direction, shaping how things are built, not just building them * Working closely with Product and QA, bringing your technical perspective early and often * Writing bulletproof unit and integration tests and holding a high bar for code quality across the team * Communicating clearly across technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex engineering decisions into business context * Mentoring and supporting engineers around you, raising the standard of the team as well as your own output We’re Looking For 🔎 Required skills: * 5+ years of hands-on experience in C#, .Net and SQL Server; React and Typescript are a strong plus * A clear sense of what senior means. Not just years in the seat, but ownership, judgement, and the ability to operate with ambiguity * Strong testing practices across unit and integration testing * Broad engineering knowledge that goes beyond your core stack; the kind of depth and curiosity that comes from solving hard problems in complex, distributed systems * The ability to communicate clearly and confidently, with your team, with Product, and with the wider business * Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams * Someone who's proactive, direct, and makes the people around them better Our Tech Stack * Backend: C#, .Net, .Net Core * Frontend: React, Typescript * Mobile: Flutter, Dart * Databases: SQL Server, MongoDB * Cloud: Azure & GCP Interview Process 🤝 * First stage: 30-minute intro, CV review, and values with a Talent Partner * Second stage: 45-minute “Tech Chat” with a Team Manager * Final stage: 90-minute Code Pairing + 30-minute Values Interview Diversity & Inclusion 🌈 We welcome, consider and encourage applications from anyone who shares our commitment to inclusivity. Join us in creating a space where authenticity thrives, and everyone can do their best work.
